Yes, angels are real.
However, they are on a higher level of being than man.
They are pure spirit, hence are invisible.
Each one is a distinct species in itself.
They are exotic species that correspond to nothing on earth. Our our minds will require an expansion to see them in heaven. We will see them with our intellect, not our bodily eyes.
There are two types of angels: good and bad.
At the beginning, they were give a choice as to whether they would love God above all else, or themselves above all else.
The ones who choose to love God above all else are the holy angels who are happy with God in heaven. They do all in their power to assist us on earth.
The ones who choose to love themselves above all else are the evil angels or the devils. They do all in their power to destroy man in mind, body, and soul, and wish to see all souls damned for all eternity.

Angel, simply translated, means 'messenger'. So, ultimately, they serve to bring messages to people from 'God' or the other side. I believe humans and angels actually evolve their relationship. As humans evolve their understanding and knowledge, so too do the angels evolve to meet the needs required of them. So while an angel may spend several hundred years simply relaying messages of comfort and peace, they may decide to expand and become more 'forthright' and actually materialize in order to better present their message. So I would say their purpose remains the same but the methods by which they attempt to achieve them evolves and/or expands.

They are God's messengers. They are helpful. The only thing harmful is when a human being allows him/herself to take his/her focus off of God & start seeking or worshiping angels instead of God. But that's not the fault of the angels. That's the fault of the human.

The bible says that they've been created to be ministering servants to mankind. that doesn't recommend they are slaves to human beings .Nor does it recommend that each human beings has a parent angel (staggering theory). Mother and Dad bought a new dodge in 1985. mother was going out the door to show Becky her car.she had picked out the colour blue.she was a little excited I guess.she got back, God saved my life! she said she tried to turn the wheel twice, and this hand was on the wheel wouldn't let her turn into the middle lane of traffic and then a transfer truck went by going fifty in that lane she said. she is passed away now, and I sorely miss her.Mother was a wonderful Christian

both angels are dark and light

as we give more to the dark angel will ,the light angel is forced to withdraw ,they together are completly unaware of thier sepperatness

thus we all get grace ,but the angels by and large need to repent at times end ,thus is the light drawn down to hell but by good redemptions the dark side burned off as we loose our will /want /need to sin.

Angels are real, they are to obey the commands of their Master, Our God. If God wants to to send messages to mankind, Angels mostly carry them. They also carry out commands of destruction when God gets angry after being patient on His people for long.
I also believe they carry our souls when we die. One thing is because I saw a video in which a pastor met with an accident and died. He was kept in mortuary for 3 days, but his wife took him to Bonke a preacher's meeting and there he came back from dead and gave statement that "When he died angels took to heaven and there how he saw God's glory and then an angel also showed him hell, where he saw people crying out in which one pastor cried out that He will return the money which he stole from church" .
They also protect us when God tells them to.

i think, angels purpose is to do God's plan relating to human being. so, whether is good or bad is depend on how you see it. angel will write anything you do, if you do good, it will have good effect to you; if you do bad, the effect will be bad for you.
angel will spread God's provision to all living creatures on earth or he may bring disasters there.
angel will serve u in heaven or he will strike you in hell.

helpful. Some are harmful; especially the ones that are in legion with the devil.
