i was at the gateway of a neighborhood with my family and we were heading out when i realized that my car is parked way back inside the neighborhood& i needed to bring it so i ran into the neighborhood but could not find it, the street was completely dark & i couldn't see, so i ran back to my family & my mother told me to search again so i ran further this time till day light came & i found myself in a nicer neighborhood, there were cats and dogs that i pet along the way, then i found a man -very handsome- dressed all in black, he was walking around buying useless stuff from kids for 10 times their cost for charity. he was happy and i followed him. he said he's in a battle with his own self and giving away his money like that is the only way to win. he kept giving away his money and i kept following him around till i found my car, which was parked right behind his. then i got into my car with the intention of heading back 2 my family and the dream was over.

plz help me understand it

After watching The Matrix and a tv show I cant remember the name of now, but it was about a computer generated world and was on fox, with a bunch of friends, we all found ourselves questioning where we came from and what our purpose was but in no way did religion come into any of those thoughts. Anyone care to share? (This was one ounce between 4 people, and was VERY intense)

As a Catholic why should we give the Church any money when they allow pedophiles to still be in the church and protect those pedophiles from the law? Is that OK ? OK to bribe officials and for those of us who belong to the church to go along with it? Is it ok?
Heck NO! Everyone of those SOB's should be sent to prison for life.

Is it because of a personal reason. If you are Christion, why would God send his only Son to die on the cross.

Just picture those poor bloody Cocks. Flogged and spurred in the jugular. Just laying there flopping as the blood drains from their poor helpless bodies and the spectators wave their money and shout. Is it a sin, tell me is this a sin? OO

The thief on the cross, simply said "Remember me when you come into your kingdom." Not "I repent", Not "Oh please forgive me my wrongs." "I'll make it up to you" He just had, what it takes for any one of us-----Faith. Christ said to him "Today you will be with me in paradise." God is not out to get you, You will only go to hell, if you reject God's sacrifice on your behalf.
All sin and fall short. No body makes it on merit points.
We all make it on grace---which means undeserved favor, you cannot earn it or deserve it.
It's not your "Im sorry" that saves you, it is Christ's sacrifice. This is obviously for believers, if you dont believe I respect your right to make the choice, so don't feel preached at. Did Christ Condemn the man who did not come right out and pray or say he was sorry?

How many people saw the secretly filmed programme on Channel 4 last night called 'Undercover Mosque'? Filth and hatred preached from what is supposedly the UK's most responsible and moderate mosques. The UK Islamic Commission affiliates with these people, invites them to speak, lets them hold events where they preach 'kill the kaffir', 'muslims will dismantle democracy and take over UK'. Live sessions beamed to UK mosques from Saudi Arabia, preaching violence and hatred. Absolutely shocking. Tony Blair actually praised these specific places for their attitudes towards multi-faith and multi-culturalism. This is pure appeasement by our government, allowing this to happen when most of the population are disgusted by it, and are crying out for action to be taken against it.

Totally smacks of Neville Chamberlain all over again - triumphantly waving a peace accord in the air, while at the same time German tanks roll into Poland. What are we doing about it?When will our government wake up?

I mean when did the proper name, "God" first start to be used for the biblical god (Jahway or whatever it is)
This is really a lexicographal question, not a religious one. I'm still an atheist. Just curious if anyone knows.

Whose best interests are you serving?

So you can be in Heaven someday, or so you wont be in Hell someday are motivations. Motivations for serving God, so, if you are serving God so that you can be in Heaven someday, or so you wont be in Hell someday---who are you really looking out for?

Shouldnt you serve God because you love God, whether or not you will or will not be rewarded?
Anything less is self service, and to a degree phony.
Too much of our service to God is stained with selfishness and arrogance. Look how good I am, instead of "How great Thou art." Whose best interests?.
