One the table, side by side:
The Holy Bible and the TV Guide.
One is well worn, but cherished with pride,
No, not the Bible, but the TV Guide.

One is used daily to help folks decide;
No, it isn't the Bible, it's the TV Guide.
As the pages are turned, what shall they see?
Oh, what does it matter--turn on the TV.

Then confusion reigns; they can't all agree,
On what they shall watch on the old TV.
So they open the book in which they confide,
No, not the Bible, the TV Guide.

The word of God is seldom read,
Oh, maybe a verse as they fall into bed.
Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be,
Not from reading the Bible, from watcing TV.

So then back to the table, side by side,
Is the Holy Bible and the TV Guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the word,
The plan of salvation is seldom heard.

Forgiveness of sin, so full and free,
Is found in the Bible, not on TV.

I really hope so. Let's set a good example. We should be a witness to others. We have to show people we are different. Jesus Christ should be our model. He loved us so we must love others. I'm not trying to accuse or offend anyone. It's just something to think about.

I have been up all night making arrangements for my best friends funeral. I am to give her eulogy and I am afraid my thoughts and words are beginning to all run together! Does anyone have any scripture or poems that they could share with me that can get me on track? Without going into too much detail she was young (36) and was murdered. I need comforting thoughts for friends and family. Thanks in advance!

I have to do a report for my class about how to get started with a hobby. For the cover page I was going to have a girl riding a horse where they jump things and I typed in yahoo picture surch to look for girl riding horse and some of the grossest pictures with nekkid girls came up. On any search I could think of some kind of nekkid girl or guy came up. Why is that?
