The Walking Bible
In the minds of millions, Jack Van Impe has become "The Walking Bible," but it didn't happen overnight.
Dr. David Allen set the example. His ability to quote the Scriptures in his work as a successful pastor and teacher convinced Jack of the value of memorization. The authority given his ministry by using Bible verses was easy to see. It is not surprising that one of his students decided to build on the same foundation.

None other than Dr. Jack Van Impe. He is fabulous in explaining the Rapture, Second Coming and Heaven, among other Biblical Topics. He has a heart not just for Protestants, but for Catholics in healing old wounds between them.
If i knew and understood just a third of what he knows I would be happy. I wonder if he is going to answer a few questions on Yahoo Answers? That would be Great!

A lot of people say Jack Van Impe. Anyone can read and memorize the Bible, but reading and memorizing it is different for KNOWING WHAT they have read. One MUST understand the SUBJECT they read BEFORE it makes any sense. All Van Impe ever says is Rapture, Rapture, and Rapture, along with all these other so called super preachers. (like John Hagee) IF there is a Rapture why does the Word of God state that Christs coming will be anything but silent. Christ will descend with a shout, with the Voice of the Arch Angel, (1st Thess. 4:16) and EVERY eye will see HIM. It also states in the Book of EZEKIEL 13:20, Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD, "Behold, I AM AGAINST your pillows,wherewith ye there hunt the SOULS to make them FLY, and I WILL tear them from your arms, and will let the SOULS GO, even the souls that ye hunt to make them FLY".
THIS IS GOD, HIMSELF speaking. I have given you the Books and verses of Gods Word to read it for YOURSELF, so PLEASE take time to read them, and IF you believe in God and His Word, you will know what God HAS SAID concerning these things. IT is NOT ME saying them, it is GODS WORD, and you cannot dispute Him IF you believe in HIM.

Because he has memorized the bible throughout.
