why do their men grow their hair longer that the woman and cover it. I have always wanted to know.

i know of nothing saying that a Hindu man should not cut his hair, i will watch this question for the answers that come along. thomas

Actually Hindus don't do that at all. You are referring to Sikhs. This was a teaching given by one of the Sikh gurus.

Not all the Hindus do that . It is only in Sikh religion. They do not cut hair , it is nothing to do with women's hair. In Sikh religion hair cut is not allowed.
No there will not come any time when they will cut their hair as it is against their religious law.
