This question is so polarized that it's a little absurd. Nevertheless, I'll take a stab at it. Clearly, the place which allows freedom seems better. However, one mustn't forget all of the sin and hedonism and carnal juices which result, often times, in a free society. Perhaps a society which strictly interprets religious law and morality has a stronger moral compass than a bunch of godless heevins, heevins who are free to reject Allah, turn their backs on Holy Qur'an, and cast ethics aside like so much rubbish. We don't "know" that Militant Islam is false. For all we know, the 19 9/11 hijackers are all in Paradise rite now, suckling w/ their 72 virgins, and soaking up the glory of the Kingdom of Heaven.

u know what, i'd rather live in a place where people didnt even talk about religions, & didnt judge each other based on religion, skin color, bla bla bla... oh & btw, im an 18 year old muslim (well as told) n yesterday i was telling one of my teachers that i dont believe in all this religion crap, i dont believe in any kind of religion...well yeah some of my classmates thought i was crazy...but my teacher told me to go think my ideas through...oh and incase u were wondering , im not gonna get exicuted or stoned or anything...

Obviously, at a place where you have freedom to change religion or live just without any religion or respect all the religions. Infact, any society which puts you in jail , or throws stones or do pubic execution should be banned. It only shows their illiteracy, ignorance and selfish motive. changing of religion is neither any kind of sin , nor any kind of crime.

I see. Iwould rather believe totally undobtedly in what I believe in so no one will get the chance to think of doing such a thing to me no matter where I live. You are speaking about countries where their laws are based on the Quran. To be muslim is for life. If you "choose" to convert or to disbelieve you are to be executed. If Islamic law were in place in North America imagine the state of the country!
