Why do different Muslim sects fight? Why, for the sake of religion, has more wars begun in human history because of it? Man is basically selfish, self-centered, void of the true and living God, and choose to live by their own rules and prejudices.
Islam and Christian nations all came from Abraham. He was the father of many nations.

The Triune God that Christians worship is not the same as Muslims' Allah. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the second person of the Trinity. Muslims believe neither of these things. Jews worship the same God that Christians do, but they do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Muslims believe in one and only ONE God, has no brothers, sisters, moms, dads, sons or daughters because then He would be another human being. Allah simply means God. No first name nor last. nothing confusing about that. They fight because each relgion wants to claim a certain domninance over the other, when in reality we could never dominate each other, only kill and hurt each other. and its always going to be about money and power.

Jeremiah 3:1 - 1 If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him to marry another, can he ever return to her? Wouldn't such a land become totally defiled?
Islam - Bukhari Volume 7, 63, Number 187:: A man divorced his wife thrice (by expressing his decision to divorce her thrice), then she married another man who also divorced her. The Prophet was asked if she could legally marry the first husband (or not). The Prophet replied, "No, she cannot marry the first husband unless the second husband consummates his marriage with her, just as the first husband had done."

It has nothing to do with what God they serve, its soley the fact that they are fighting over the land, but for all we know its probably just because ages ago some palistinian had sex with a jew or vice versa and all hell broke loose after.

It's simple. Although they have the same GOD, their divisions result from differing opinions of what religious practices and interpretations about GOD to take.
Different opinions between believers often result in splits in said religion. It has always happened and is happening to this day. They all have their own opinion on how to serve GOD best.

they fight because of ignorance , everyone think that he is the Right ,,, if they think for a moment religions are only ways to know and reach God , everything it will be a different , religion is a way and not a goal ,, there many many many ways to reach God .... but the ignorance of our minds put us on closed roads ,,
hope that we can be more open minded and know the truth , there is not choosen people , we are all son of God ... even if you are in another religion ..

Because they are not the same...thats why Jews and Christians are upset sometimes. Muslims say its the same G-d, ask the Jews or Christians if it is! (and Catholics dont count)

Because everyone wants to claim ownership of the "true" belief because man is greedy.
Why don't we spend more time trying to be good people rather then fighting over who's personal belief is correct?

Because there's so many things to fight about. You can be sure that if there was no religion people would still fight over everything else.
