Is it because of a personal reason. If you are Christion, why would God send his only Son to die on the cross.

gorgeoust... If hell doesn't exist, then that would make God injust and corrupt. All those who rejected his Son get to heaven, that is injust.

Hell is a place for those who reject Christ and deny Him. Those who are not saved by the grace of God are sent to hell because of their denial and rebellion against God. It is God's judgment upon those who reject Him - simple as that. The only ones who go to heaven are His 'elect' - those born again through Christ Jesus. :D Not everyone is God's 'children' as many believe that 'everyone' is. God is not only a God of love, but a God of wrath as well.
Dueteronomy 32:4 - He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Matthew 7:21 - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Romans eight, "there's now no condemnation for many who are in Christ Jesus." The query is, could any one who rather believes that the second they die they are going to be with the Lord truthfully kill themselves understanding that the second they do they are going to have got to appear Jesus within the eye. I can not suppose any one rather believing in Jesus doing this sort of factor however then grief and sorrow may also be so overwhelming within the second that each one else is forgotten within the want to flee, no longer realising that given time all matters may also be coped with and existence turns into valued at dwelling once more. Suicide is a everlasting approach to a transitority predicament - if you're contemplating suicide then you want instantaneous aid from a health practitioner, counsellor, Pastor, Chaplain and loved ones and peers - don't sit down and mull over those ideas as they're your enemy and no longer the desire of God for you. If you can not feel of who to touch then appear within the mobilephone ebook or google the quantity of a aid line and they are going to advisor you from there. I've identified households which have been torn aside through the egocentric act of suicide and it reasons so much anger and bitterness or even hatred toward the one that died for the reason that of the senselessness of all of it and their helpless discomfort.

There is a book called the bible. For the Christians it is a collection of books that contains the word of God as spoken through the prophets.
In its pages, you will find why God would send his son to be executed. There is more, but why you need to read it for your answer.

why does it say that Jesus went to hell? because hell mean the general common grave of mankind......ecc. 9 talks about things involving the living and the dead....verse five clearly says there is no action no feeling no thoughts of anyone dead....they are not conscious...thus they could not feel pain....why would hell exist if this were true? it doesn't......religions made it to keep their followers obedient.....through Fear...God does not teach you to fear HIM, but to fear displeasing him.....if GOD IS LOVE, why would he torture his creations, don't you think it hurts him when one chooses to be evil? .....logic of common religions today makes no sense to me.....
BTW, the bible says that during Armageddon God will remove wickedness from the earth....they will be gone forever.....as it says in many versus in the bible including many psalms like psalms 37:9-11........righteous ones will live, while unrighteous will not......God would (painlessly) destroy the wicked ones (this is not necessarily said in any scripture but my own opinion....).......so that's how wicked will be removed....more proof of his love is also found in the bible where it says God is not "slow respecting his promise, as some consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance"....2 Pet. 3:9

The bible just isn't a very convincing story. I don't need to make believe there's a heaven or a hell to keep myself living a good and righteous life.

I don't believe in hell and I'm not a christian. I don't believe in hell because I also believe any god who loved someone wouldn't condemn them to a "hell." but I do believe in an afterlife...

It is absurd. The God I believe in would not send anyone to hell for eating shrimp or having sex.

I stopped believing in hell long before I stopped believing in god.
If god exists, and is all-powerful, and loves everyone, why would he sentence any of his children to hideous pain for eternity? it doesn't make any sense. nothing's forcing him to do it.
If hell exists, then god can't be all he's cracked up to be.
