If you practice it... do you ever fear it? How about being scared of somebody doing it back to you? And the ever popular karma... what do you think, is karma for real?

Who says I fear it? Not at all.

I've never had occasion to need to use purely black magick. I wouldn't unless every other non-magickal recourse, as well as white magick and grey magick (if it came to that), had been exhausted. I think karma is very much for real, and using black magick would make me a little less certain that mine was as squeaky clean as I've tried to keep it.

Well I think our will and our person can protect us to an extent. You must be exposed first and foremost, second you must fear it while having a less understanding than the doer, last if you have no faith or understanding of religion or black arts than yes some people get fear and be harmed I suppose.

Karma sure but I often wonder if a person has no guilt if they go through negative things after negative acts.

I recall an old quote. "White Magic is Poetry, Black Magic is Anything That Works."

The intent is the important part, but I, personally am not afraid of the big, bad, Karma Wolf.

I have no problems using magic for a "bad intent," nor do I fear others doing it back to me. I figure I should be able to defend myself, if need be.

You need not fear 'black magic.' What you should be aware is that this negative energy is not healthy, actually damaging to the soul/spirits of those who do follow or practice this ritual.

It's a very unhealthy practice for them, not you. If others are also breaking the law to do harmful things, such as treating animals cruelly, etc. this just makes it worse for them, again not for you.

Best wishes

Black Magic is b/s and here's why...

If you buy into the whole dark side, demonology, dark lord satan bit, it necessitates his original creation by a God that is infinitly more powerful. Why wouldn't you just become a Christian and skip the middle man?

As far as the dark arts go I think you're better off praying to a rock. At least if you cast the rock at someone you don't like, it will hurt irrespective of their beliefs.

i do not fear anyone casting aginst me. first off i give noone reason to do so. second i am very confident in my abilities, and my shields and protections.

as far as fearing the art that i practice, Black magic has many different descriptions. to me black magic is not evil, it is simply a color association of magic from the west, and the totem of the black bear. it is strong but gentle, fierce, yet slow to act.

a Christian would call all magic Black magic, because they associate black with death and death with evil.

a "White lighter" would associate Black magic with magic done to cause harm, or used for personell gain.

me i see everything as an intent. and color just represents a direction to me.

Always have a healthy respect and fear of it. Caution should always be used and black magic used sparingly.

Scared someone else will use it on me -- no

I believe in magick that can do harm. But I neither practice it nor fear it. I don't need to practice it, and I know how to protect myself from it.

I hesitate to define anything in "black" and "white" terms, because the universe is one vast gray area.

Karma is not a matter of belief, it is a matter of fact.

no. because if you practice you will know a protection spell that doesn't only protect you from others like yourself but also from spirits, demons and the like. karma is real... everything that you do is a trade.. if you curse someone it will go back to you... that's what protection spells are for.... and spells will not work in an instant it has to go with the will of the universe...
