Certainly. I am a teacher in Church and I tell the people I teach to never take anything I say as being gospel. Teachers are there only to give a 'guided opinion' everything that comes out of their mouth should be compared back against the Bible and considered in prayer so that you can form your own opinion.

thus the fact it is not in any bible. Each translation of the bible and choosing of the books had to have leaders to choose what was most inspired by the divine. Anyway I would suggest using a different example and get to a point with proof of falsehoods within a bible.

They wouldn't have to teach me the truth. The people would have a hard time convincing me that bananas were really purple, especially since I don't go to church at all.
