I've spoken to some people who believe in God, but refuse to obey his word because they say God is a "control freak". If it were not for God, we wouldn't have our lives, brains to think, or free will to judge him or anyone else. God has every right to expect total obedience and respect. If one views that as having control, so be it. He has earned that right, and should expect it.

People are more accepting of a human such as president, mayor, ect being in "control" but have issues with the creator of earth, the universe, and all that exists having control??? I've even seen people willing to submit to a girlfriend, boyfriend, or celebrity, due to lust or imperfect love, yet these same people call God a "control freak" for expecting the same?? Makes no sense to me.

Although I don't agree with Atheists, at least I can understand their position since they don't believe in God. But for people not to obey a God, they believe exists, because he expects to be in control, is strange.

Because, you know, science actually has some interesting facts on these things.

A Testament is a will. We have the Old Will and the New Will. Is this 2 wills from 2 Gods, or a revised will from the same God? If its the same God, he sure did change his mind about a lot of things. What about all the other religions and their words of God?

The "word of God" is seen in the wonders of His Creation, not in a couple of books written by men.

Does this seem like Christian self-destruction? Valuable discourse? A tempest in a teapot? Or counting imaginary angels on the head of a pin?

Whenever I look at europe i see a place who has far less hangups than americans. I've seen American questions on here about not letting young girls wear thong underwhere as if some cloths under your clothes is somehow a bad thing. Americans are against women going topless in public where men can go topless and they can't explain why it's wrong and say that it just is. They have hangups about naked people, but we are all just people and we know what each other has under our cloths. I've been to nude beaches and it's no big deal. Europeans don't have these hangups. I've heard from some Americans that sex between two teenage girls is bad. A practice that will not get a girl pregnant but people can't give a good reason as to why it's bad, other than to say it just is. People say pot should remain against the law but it's proven booze is far more dangerous and adictive than marijuana but they don't want booze made illegal.
Why are Americans such backwards prudes?

A. Is there any feature of your theory which is subject to scientific test? This is often stated: is creationism scientific in the sense that it could be falsified? (After Karl Popper's criterion.) Another way of phrasing it is: is there any kind of observation which, if it were seen, would change your theory?

B. Is there any observation which has changed your theory?

C. Is your theory open to change, and if so, what criteria are there for accepting change?

To me life is horrible, and so are some of the people in it. If I commited suicide would I end up in hell, as I am a Christian who loves God and Jesus, but not this world, I would rather Heaven any day than this life. But I have heard if there is a Hell that it does not matter if you are a Christian you still go there if you take your life, is that true? To me this life is Hell, and I want to get out of this Hell, but I do not want to go to another one trillion times worse that this one. I do not want to take that risk, but I do not want to live either as this life sucks. Christians do you feel the same way, and if you do what do you do?

Coldness does not exist, nor does darkness. Coldness is the absense of heat or energy and can not be measured. The only thing you can measure is the absense of heat. Darkness does not exist either. It is actually the absense of light. You can use a prism to study light, but can not study wavelengths of dark because it's the absense of light. We still have a concept of these words, although they can not be proven and are not real. It may be something you sense though.
Please, no offensive answers. Just talking between adult minds.

The more and more I talk to Theists they are desperate to make Atheism appear as if it were a religion. They try to make loose ends like "The Origin of The Species is the Atheists New Testament," and "Communism is Atheist attrocities" (intending to justify the crusades and other religiously motivated wars). In fact it is simple to see that Darwin isn't anything more than someone that explained biological origins and communism is politically and not religiously charged (thus in no way comparable to the crusades). I've even seen some Christians say that science labs like fermilab are our churches.

Why is there such a huge obsession with making Atheism seem like a religion? And please don't say "because it is," for someone can say "Darwin can kiss my a-s-s" and still be atheist, while someone that says "Jesus can kiss my a-s-s" can't be Christian.

All of which contain anti-religious lyrics sometimes.

These bands seem to just have the most passion for their music and it is the most absorbing to listen to. What do you guys think?

I spoke with a Jehovah Witness who told me that Jesus was the Archangel Michael. If that were true, wouldn't God have taken a very big chance sending him to earth? Afterall, that would mean Jesus would have been an Angelic Brother to Satan, also capable of turning against God, and falling from Grace wouldn't it? Would God really have taken that chance after Satan's betrayal, despite the high position he once had in heaven? It seems that God will only trust himself with such a role. I can't imagine a being or spirit with the intent of turning others against God, beins sent by God.
