You don't hear a voice, but you do hear the truth and you don't
have any doubts about it schizoid or not

I think people say that because they need something to believe in because they don't believe in themselves. They feel if they can imagine "God" and how "great" he is, it will make them feel better about themselves. I personally don't believe "God" is "great" or even capable of anything. People say God created the world, but something had to create him? We live on a rock that was formed from space. We revolutionized from "cavemen". And the Bible isn't all correct. In there it says Homosexuality is a sin. If it's a sin, how come people were gay back then? They didn't say anything because they'd get killed. Now the world is more open and we revolutionized since then. Homosexuality is not a sin. It's a part of life. It's not the "natural" way of living, but neither is growing up in a house with a teenager as a mother, but it's part of life. Things changed since then. People got smarter and didn't believe everything someone said. Take the Salem Witch Trials for example. Teenage girls said others were witches so they got hanged? Good job for believing things that people make up.

Yes.

I tell people that jesus spoke to me on the evening of December 31, 1988.

I "heard" a voice. In that I didn't hear a physical manifestation of a voice, but felt something in my head, more than just thinking or imagining things.

It was a strong, soothing voice, using words and language that I never did, explaining to me what i needed to do.

i also got this sensation of warmth and well-being along with it (No I hadn't been drinking, thank you!)

People that tell you that they have heard God speak to them are probably insane. Stay away from them. People that are moved by the spirit of the lord are probably saner but certainly religiously zealous to say the least. I personally am very leery about anyone claiming anything too personal of a relationship with the Lord, whatever they may call him. Fanaticism often hides/disguises itself in ideas/forms we want to believe in.

If you read His words and truly store them in your heart God brings His words to life in the right moment and time when you or someone else needs to here it and thats why people say God spoke to me, because it is His word. Your spirit connects to Gods' spirit which is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches us of the deepest things of God. His voice is quiet and soft, So with all the busyness and loudness in the world thats why people can't here Him.

It is a voice that you can't describe to anyone, Nor can I or anyone else get you to believe that we can really hear the voice of god. either you believe in god then you will hear his voice for your self or you don't believe in god and you will never hear his voice. if you don't believe you are really missing out on a great and wonderful joy!!

When he spoke to me one time it was like a voice inside of my head, but I don't think it was audible.. Most of the time he just speaks to my heart through my emotions..
Sometimes it is just like a strong impression that something is right or wrong and it is like you just know something is up..

Delusions. The manifest in many ways; but for people with religious conditioning the result is often the belief they actually hear their god.

The reason people say this is THEY ARE CRAZY!!!

Crazy people are always hearing voices!!!
It doesn't make the voices real just as their quackings about God doesn't make that fantasy real!!

Some people honestly, truly believe it. It's just a fervor they work themselves into like a feedback loop.
