I'm not sure if it specifically says SEASONS, although it does talk about not knowing the day or the hour but recognizing the signs and it also mentions when Israel is like a tree in the spring. It also talks about many signs. The only thing I could find that might relate to a change in the seasons would be the following scriptures:
Isa 13:9-10 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Joel 2:30-31 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Joel 3:15-16 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Rev 6:12-14 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Mat 24:27-30 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
All of these refer to a change in the sun and the moon, which would most definitely change the seasons.
As to when this might happen:
Matthew 24:3 "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" Jesus told his apostles to look for the following signs prior to his second coming and the end of the age.
Matthew 24:5 "For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and will mislead many."
Matthew 24:11 "And many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many."
(There are so many false prophets today who do not preach from the Bible but preach a feel good philosophy. They will go onto shows like Larry King and will say that maybe there is another way to heaven besides Jesus. This is a lie. The Bible says there is only one way and that is through accepting Jesus as your savior. I won't even delve into all the New Age religions and Wicca, etc. that people are following these days.).
Matthew 24:6 "And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end."
Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."
(Check out the statistics on earthquakes)
Matthew 24:8-9 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my name."
(Many Christians are killed in China, Sudan, Korea and many other countries today. There are some real horror stories coming out of Korea. Do a Google search on this topic. But I'm not sure this is exactly what this refers to as I believe the tribulation will be much worse than anything we've seen in the present.)
Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come."
More about last days:
II Timothy 3:1-5,7 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
I Timothy 4:1-3 "But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. By means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth."
Many Bible scholars believe that every prophecy has been fulfilled before the rapture of the church (no, the Bible doesn't call it "rapture" but talks about being caught up in the air and the church--Jesus's bride--being called up to a great wedding feast).
I recommend you visit the website below for additional reading on this topic.
All that said, no one can know when Christ will return. Only God knows the answer to that one, and he isn't telling :)

I thought there was some reference in the Bible as to winter being as summer and summer being as winter as a sign of the end times. Upon reading your question I had checked the Bible with the help of a search engine but could not find a thing. Wherever did I hear this?

Ecc 3:1 To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecc 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted;
Ecc 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
Ecc 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Ecc 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
Ecc 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
Ecc 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
Ecc 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Ecc 3:9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

I love this scripture in Genesis 8:21,22,. After the ark in Noah's day had settled on dry land, God spoke to Noah and said: " For all the days the earth continues, seed sowing and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter and day and night, will never cease".
I looked up this one in several translations and they all gave the same answer, though reworded differently.

I know exactly what you are referring to but I can't remember the exact verse.
Look in Revelation, I believe the signs of the coming of Christ are all found within that chapter.
It may help if your Bible has an index.

I think you mean these verses:
Matthew 24: 32 “Now learn from the fig tree as an illustration this point: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and it puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 Likewise also you when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors.
Mark13: 28 “Now from the fig tree learn the illustration: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 Likewise also you, when you see these things happening, know that he is near, at the doors.
Luke 21:29 With that he spoke an illustration to them: “Note the fig tree and all the other trees: 30 When they are already in the bud, by observing it you know for yourselves that now the summer is near. 31 In this way you also, when you see these things occurring, know that the kingdom of God is near.
