To me life is horrible, and so are some of the people in it. If I commited suicide would I end up in hell, as I am a Christian who loves God and Jesus, but not this world, I would rather Heaven any day than this life. But I have heard if there is a Hell that it does not matter if you are a Christian you still go there if you take your life, is that true? To me this life is Hell, and I want to get out of this Hell, but I do not want to go to another one trillion times worse that this one. I do not want to take that risk, but I do not want to live either as this life sucks. Christians do you feel the same way, and if you do what do you do?

Don't do it. Please find a friend, coworker, parent, aunt, uncle, pastor, son, daughter, anyone. Please talk to someone about suicide. It's not worth doing. You think your pain may end but your just going to hurt the ones that love you. Losing someone is the worse feeling in the world. My mother died of a cancer when I was seven years old. So I know what it feels like to lose someone. It a pain that never leaves you. I'm 22 years old now and I think about it everyday. Don't put your family into a situation like mine or anyone else's who has lost someone. Life is a precious gift don't waste it. There are times in everyones life where they feel they can't take it anymore, and I realize you feel the same way but this life, YOUR LIFE is worth living for. God has a plan for everyone. It may look bad now but trust me things always get better.

This world is getting worse and worse, but your life is precious it is a gift from GOD, you are the only person like you, there never was or never will be someone like you,EVER! You are unique. Just think of how life would be for the people that love you, without you here. I believe that if you kill yourself you will go to Hell. Life is full of trials and tribulations, but there are also great times too and I am sure you have experienced those. GOD has a plan for you, maybe he wants you to help those less fortunate than yourself , that way you get your mind off of how you feel and you feel good by helping someone else. Life can be very hard, but Hell will be a million times worse and it will be forever, on earth it is not that long.

If you are a Christian then there is something majorly wrong with your faith if you feel that way. A true Chrisian tha walks with the Lord has no problem facing the problems and difficulties of life. They bounce off him like water off of a duck, as they say. You need to seriously look at your faith and see what you have done wrong or are doing wrong.
Also there is one major reason for thoughts about suicide and that is guilt. Is there some moral sin (by that I mean the 10 commandments, which is God's moral law) in your life that should not be there. You need to do some serious looking at your life and pray to God for wisdom. Paul says "examine youself to see if you are in the faith."

If a Christian commits suicide, he will not go to hell. The Bible says in Romans that neither life nor death, or anything else can separate us from the love of God. Of course, a real Christian would know better than to commit suicide. He would know that God has a purpose for him being here on earth. We are to be witnesses to those around us for one thing.

Hey, I feel your pain. But guess what? God is glorious and He can help you when you feel sick of this place! Paul said that "to die is gain". I know... we are all getting homesick...we're strangers in this land remember?

No man knows the mind of God. We cannot answer that with any certainty (and anyone who can is most likely misguided). It's clear that murder is a sin, even murder of oneself. Also, when YOU make the decision that you don't want to live here on Earth anymore, you're doing something much worse than just serving yourself, you're playing God. Remember that what He said to Jeremiah is true for us all: "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb ", and Paul also reminds us in the first chapter of Philippians that "He who has started a work in you will bring it to completion".

What you're going through right now may be worse than anything I've been through... but guess what? God promises us that His mercies will be new every morning. Also, one thing to remember is that He allows us to go through certain trials and tribulations so that we can not only learn from them and become stronger, but so that later on we can help others that are going through the same things! Don't let the sorrows of today make you cut short the glory that you can bring Christ tomorrow! Whatever it is, it is only for a night and joy will come tomorrow!!

BUT to answer your question directly, God knows your heart. There is a Hell, and it's place of total absence from God's presence. This life can shape up pretty badly (believe me... I have been on the frontlines of that war), but remember that it is NOTHING compared to the Hell we face if we are outside of God's family. Right now, things are bad! But we have God's word, and His promise of a great place to call home when we leave here. I guarantee that if you spend some time in His word, you will feel a lot better. We are encouraged to "press on" toward the goal of Christ Jesus. I have listed a few scriptures below that may make you feel a bit better!

Also! If you ever want to chat! Please do send me a message! I am a ministry student. I'd love to talk to you, and share some of my experiences and hear all about yours!

Oh my, I have been down that road, where it seems that life will never be good on this earth. I was wrong and happy to be here today. Not because life is perfect, but I am just amazed at how God has touched me and used me in so many wonderful ways. I thank God that I didn't quit when it seemed like the only solution, quiting is never the answer to pain,it only makes things worse.

Read Jeremiah 29:11 and pray that God will see you through and lift you up so you can see at the true beauty that surrounds you. Don't let satan trick you into thinking this way, LIFE IS SO GOOD! But we all go through dry spells, we do suffer in this world, but take heart, Jesus has overcome the world d:O)

God has a plan, its a success plan my freind.

Spend your time reading and studying with a Non-denominational Church in your area. GOD is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. NOTHING in this world will compare to heaven but I know that if you committ suicide then you will NoT have an opportunity to be forgiven of that sin (MuRdEr). I am rather certain that you would go to HeLL at JuDgMeNt. I spend a lot of time reading and studying GOD's HOLY WORD. IT is very inspirational. This world has a number of faults but I always am able to find another Christian that needs assistance when I am not feeling well. That makes me feel much better to help them thru the rough times. If you are unable to find a Non-denominational group of Christians in your area please contact me and I will find one NEAR YOU. Have a great evening.

Committing suicide is sin. For three reasons:

First, it is disobedience to the command of God, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). And disobedience to God’s commands is sin.

Second, it is presumption upon God’s sovereign prerogatives to give and take life. God alone can create a human person, and therefore personhood belongs to God. We have no right to dispose of ourselves or others as we please. The Lord has sole rights over what he has made. Murder and suicide intrude on the sacred ground where God alone is the giver and taker.

Third, it is failure to trust in God for the help needed to survive and cope. And the Bible says that whatever is not from faith is sin (Romans 14:23).

Therefore, I'm on firm biblical ground when I say: it is sin take your own life.

With this fact in mind, do you seriously want to chance it? Why gamble with your soul? Think about it.

"Not everyone that said unto me , Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he that do the will of my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:13)
God said in Exodus 20:13 "Thou shall not kill" which means you shall not commit murder to kill others or even yourself.
"But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and the murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burned with fire and brimstone which is the second death" Revelation21:8
In response to your question, the anwer is yes.
God created us and placed us on this planet earth according to His marvelous plan and purpose. As you look around you and see those unpleasant sights, pause for a minute and turn your eyes upon JESUS CHRIST, the author of peace and finisher of our faith, Take courage, we are just pilgrims on a journey. Remember our citizenship is in heaven. We may never pass this way again. Feed your thoughts with God's promises and you will see all those around us are just shadows to be left behind. You look at life as full of problems which eat your joy away, if ever that happens again, how about cast your care upon GOD for HE cares for you.

it depends on the talk you and God have after you die. i wouldnt risk it if i were you. life isnt THAT bad that i would wanna take the chance. you will go soon enough. work thru your problems, get some help, talk to someone. there are TONS of ways out of this "hell" other than suicide. God knows your heart and your mind and your intentions.
