No Jesus is not may personal savior but instead He is may savior and He will save the church "Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the Savior of the body." and the body is the Church "Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence"
when you said "personal" its denote something you own and you can't share it with other for example personal thing like your toothbrush.

You need only to accept him and pray for forgiveness.
