I don't think it is 2 wills from 2 Gods or 2 wills from 1 god. It is simply 2 books written in different periods of time by people in different environments. If the one has been replaced by the other it should be removed from the bible. And since people wrote it it should be revised every 100 years or so.

>>A Testament is a will.<<
Actually, the better word to use is not Testament but Covenant. A covenant is an agreement made between two parties.
In the old covenant, the agreement was between God and Abraham which spilled over into the nation of Israel.
In the new covenant, the body of believer later to be known as the church, became part of the covenant and because Jesus had already died to pay for our sins, the levitical laws were fulfilled once and for all so they became unecessary to keep performing.
>>What about all the other religions and their words of God?<<
What about them?
Are you implying that they have equal footing with the Judeo-Christian faith?
That would be wrong on your part because while each and every religion claims that you can gain favor with their Supreme Deity by doing good works and earn your way into their heaven, the Christian faith says that there's NO WAY you can ever be good enough to earn your way in. That's the whole point of Jesus having to die on the cross, so Christians disagree with everyone else on how to get into Heaven.
>>The "word of God" is seen in the wonders of His Creation, not in a couple of books written by men.<<
True enough.
The Bible even says that "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork".
Psalm 19:1
However, it also says that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God..."
2 Timothy 3:16a
This means that if you are claiming the Bible is "just a book written by men" you're going against God's testimony of it.
By the way...the bible is more than 1/3 prophecy. This means that just a little under half of the Bible is God telling us what would happen before it did.
Are you aware that all these facts can be sustained using secular history.
Did you know that only about 50 years ago people mocked the Bible because of some of it's prophecies which had not come true yet LIKE ISRAEL RETURNING FROM BEING SCATTERED ALL OVER THE WORLD AND BECOMING A NATION prophecised in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah and other books of prophecy?
Their silence is deafening.
"...let God be true but every man a liar..."
Romans 3:4a
Hopes this helps.

A Testament is in essence a Contract. GOD formed a contract to take us to the point that HIS SON Arose into heaven after the ressurection. GOD has sent HIS SON as our Savior. We have the right to be a CHILD of GOD now. Christ will stand up for us if we stand up for HIM and follow the commands in the New Testament. He has promised that. The Old Testament contained a number of prophesies that were fulfilled in Jesus. NO OTHER has ever fulfilled all of them, except Christ. GOD is seen in all of HIS might WORKS. BUT, HIS PROMISES are an even greater work. GOD inspired more than 40 writers over a 1500 year period to write the HOLY BIBLE. There are NO CONTRADICTIONS to be found in it! Imagine just five people writing a book and never meeting with one another. How many contradictions would you find? I find this almost as amazing as the fact that if the tilt of the earth was 6 degress off no life could exist here. If the earth was just 10 percent closer or farther from the sun we would not be able to live here. If the atmosphere were different, the soil were different, a number of the animals were different, etc, etc, we would not be able to exist here. GOD created a world suited to our needs and gave us everything including HIS WORDs to live by. I believe that we should do our best to listen to what HE has to say. Have a great evening!

For simple people,I write.
The old testament is history.
Jesus traded his life so he could run things.
He calls it the new covenant. Do it his way.
You should never read the old part until you become educated.
The old part is like me telling my grand kids, stories my grand father told me about his grandfather, some variations of the truth, and some senility most likely. Or Think of it like this..It has only been two thousand years since Jesus was here. Just think how mum fuzzled the stories are about his life..But the stories of Jesus were written by people that actually saw and talked to him.
Parts of the old testament was written 4,000 years after the fact. It is believed Moses wrote Genesis 4000 yrs after God created the earth. So where did he get his information?

God revised it.
The old testament was all about laws;anyone alive back then was judged based on weather the followed the law completely.Well of course no one did, resulting in a lot of stonings no doubt.
God saw this problem, and gave us the new testament.
We are living in the new testament where we will be judged based on weather we violated our concience or not.Old testament is still valid but we are judged by the laws anymore.

The doctrine of the inspiration of the Bible means that the Bible in the original documents is God-breathed, that they are a divine product, and because they are divine, they are inerrant in the original documents. The copies of those documents are not inspired. We have copies of inspired documents.
2 Tim. 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." Paul who wrote this epistle was obviously referring to the entirety of the Old Testament as being inspired. The word "inspired" is literally "God breathed." This is an interesting phrase since it implies that the Scriptures are from the mouth of God. Likewise, Peter says in 2 Pet. 1:21, "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." Notice that Peter is stating that prophecy is not the product of human will. Instead, prophecy occurs by those moved by the Holy Spirit.

In the old testament, the only part of God's will the world deserved was his wrath.
In the new testament, we received Jesus, who changed God's wrath to mercy, and his just punishment for our sins, to grace.
That's why the new testament totally replaced the old one.
So we could see the difference Christ makes.

This question arises only if you consider OT and NT as two different books... NT is the continuation of of OT and is to be read together. This O & N are classification based on time and not regarding a revised version or from two Gods
