OT, Numbers 23:19 says God is not a man, nor is He a son of man?
And please explain this too:
NT, Luke 3:38 says : "Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God".
How come Adam is God's son? I do know that some people would say that the "s" is in lowercase. But isn't the bible originally NOT in English? There are no "Capital" or "small" letters in Semitic languages!!

I tend to think not because God is the only one who is omniscient. Also some prophecy scholars have proposed that Satan has had a man prepared in every generation of mankind's history for the purpose of fulfilling the role of Antichrist. Some of these men might have included Antiochus Epiphanes, Nero, Napoleon, Hitler, etc, which would suggest he ultimitely doesn't know who's body he will inhabit. What do you think? Please keep in mind I am asking a Biblical question and out of respect would like a Biblical response and not a sarcastic one. I do realize that some of you cannot help yourselves, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask politely.

I was watching a call in tv-show on the CTS channel. The host told a christian father that if he went with his wife's (atheist) decision not to baptize their baby, and the baby didnt grow up to accept god, their child would go to hell for eternity. I think that host should have been fired, but yet there he is every night spewing his hate.

We've all heard the old phrase "forgive and forget", and you've probably also heard the question, Is it possible to forgive without forgetting. But my question is a little different. If you do something you deem as "bad" and in need of forgiveness, and you ask for forgiveness then forget about it, does that mean you are forgiven? Christ said I will forgive who I will forgive, but of you is required to forgive all men. He also said (I paraphrase) that once He has forgiven someone, He remembers it no more. So from these two scriptures I gather that we should forgive even ourselves. If we try to forgive ourselves, then give that desire (of forgiveness) over to God (so that we're not burdened with it any more), then forget about it and are no longer burdened by the guilt associated with it, are we forgiven (if not by God, then at least by ourselves)?

On my last post somebody responded that he believed the Antichrist would be Jewish and said this

Jesus predicted that Israel will someday foolishly receive the Antichrist as their saviour. "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive"(John 5:43).

Doesn't "if another shall come in His own name, him ye will recieve" mean that it could be anyone? Where is the Jewish connection? I am just curious because even though Jesus was a Jew he clearly says that He will come in His Fathers Name and no one will recieve Him, so if someone came in their own name and not in Gods that could mean any religious background?

Also he stated that In Dan 11:37 it says "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers." and that it strongly suggested a Jewish background. How though if Jewish people won't regard the God of his fathers? To me that seems like it could be someone outside of the Jewish faith. Just curious...

If God can make Man, why did he make amoebas and work his way up? Why didn't he just start with Man to begin with? Evolution seems so slow and inefficient for an omnipotent diety!

If I loved Van Gogh's art, studied it, and sought it out, would I shun the news that said new works were discovered hidden in an old place he used to live? I would think I would be eager to go and see for myself. If it were true and they were by VanGogh, I would be grateful his new works were found.

Why do so many devout Christians reject that there is another testament of Jesus Christ in addition to the Bible? The idea that ancient prophets lived in the American continent and wrote of their experiences should excite interest in Christian believers. And not only do many reject it, but they refrain from even investigating it. If there were another testament of Jesus Christ, wouldn't Christians be very interested to find out what it says - and from the source? If you are a Christian seeking to learn more about Christ, why would you avoid reading the Book of Mormon to discover if it's true?
