I'm not Christian, but that verse only says that people will receive (believe in) false prophets, not that the people he was speaking to would be/give birth to false prophets, let alone The Antichrist.
It may also surprise the Christians to know that the ONLY mention of the Antichrist in the entire Bible in in Revelations. Most Biblical scholars believe that the Antichrist was Nero and that Revelations was meant to describe the near future not the far future.
I blame the Left Behind books, which are big on drama and small on actual Biblical verses.

The best way I can find to answer your question is to just tell you that when Jesus returns He will not come again in the form of a man. He is already 100% man and 100% God. When Jesus returns no one on the face of this earth will miss it because He's coming back with so much power and force that the earth and the sky will loudly announce His return. He will be coming from the clouds in such a loud, majestic, and unmistakable way that you will have no other choice but to believe it's Him. But he world will be deceived just before Jesus returns. Remember the Antichrist is Satan who used to be a top ranking angle in heaven before he was kicked out which means he had powers "similar" to God's at first. The world will believe the Antichrist is Jesus because he will be able to heal the sick, bring peace to every war, solve world hunger and poverty, and perform all sorts of "miracles" but the fact will be that the evil one who causes all of those things in the earth will simply stop his assault on the world while he is deceiving it. But at the present time all Satan can do is tempt man to sin because he is a spirit and his physical self (a seven head dragon) is currently imprisoned until the time he will be released into the earth. I know this all sounds way out there but I just believe that the word of God is all true and if God's word tells us to look to the sky for Jesus's return then that is where I'll place my faith to look for Him.

You will find in the Epistle of John references to the fact that the Antichrist Spirit has already arrived in his day when he wrote the Epistles. John says that the Antichrist will be the one who will deny that the Messiah did not come in the person of Jesus who is claimed by Christianity to be the long promised Messiah. There are those in our own day who don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah other than the Jewish people. Its quite clear that the Antichrist will be a world leader who will come on the world scene in the future.

Good questions. Here are my thoughts.
As far as John 5:43 is concerned, I see no reference to an antichrist here. I believe Jesus is referring to the Jewish people accepting all kinds of false messiahs while rejecting Him, the true Messiah. The Jewish historian, Josephus, records that a string of messianic pretenders arose in the years before 70 A.D., for example.
And as far as Daniel 11:37 goes, my Bible says: "He shall pay no attention to the gods of his fathers, or to the one beloved by women. He shall not pay attention to any other god, for he shall magnify himself above all." Pagan Gentiles have had traditional gods passed down from their fathers, but this king has no regard for any of them. His only god is power (vs. 38,, “god of fortresses”).
So, out of those two verses...I don't see the warrant for viewing the antichrist as a strictly Jewish individual.

In context with John 5:43, verses 18,19 states that He was talking with a group of Jews at that time who were seeking to kill Him for saying that He was equal with God. I think it would be conjecture to say that the anti-Christ would be Jewish from this scripture. Matthew 24:5 : Matt 24:11, 24; Acts 5:36; 1 John 2:18; 4:3 all point to others, non-specific, would come calling themselves the Christ, other false prophets, to which this seems to refer. The reference in Daniel 11 seems to be of Persian descent, suggested by the message of Michael in the first of the chapter, but it remains unclear as to the nationality.

The Antichrist will not be a Jew, He will be a Gentile from The revived Roman Empire (Europe). The Bible states in Rev. 17:15 that the antichrist will rise out of the Sea, and the Sea represents the gentile nations. The verse in Daniel you refer to is speaking of those who reject the Historic Faith in the Christian God of his Nation.

I agree. I don't think it's going to be anyone Jewish. If someone comes "in his own name and he is received" (by the Jewish people), I would think that the person wouldn't necessarily be part of any "religion". If he is mistakenly thought of as the "Messiah", and is really the anti-Christ, then he wouldn't be affiliated with any religious organization.

Freakin Hal Lindsey. There is no evidence whatsoever that the "antiChrist" will be Jewish. There is very scant evidence that the antiChrist will even be a human being. This is called Dispensationalism - look it up, research it, and then stop believing it. It is not a Christian doctrine.

There is an old tradition in Israel.
If a person is of the land, they are of Israel, if they are of the sea, they are gentiles.
The beast is of the sea, and the false prophet is of the land.
The false prophet orders the masses to worship the beast.
So the Antichrist is not Jewish, but his fale prophet is.
This gets too deep to cover on a postcard.

The Anti Christ will be from Europe and false prophet more than likely Israel ,remember Anti Christ does not mean against God ,it means he will set himself up just like god and do all kinds of miracles and he will make Hitler look like a choir boy compared to what he does to the Jews and anybody that does not bow down to him
