Lucifer was an angel of God, almost an equal. He got too big for his pants and was kicked out.

Chippy, making a light remark as I have is not an indication of intelligence or lack of it. It is only an indication that after an afternoon of questions, insults, put downs and research, I needed a little stress relief. Humor is a legitimate stress reliever...and no that is NOT in the Bible.

Without going into the biblical stuff, since I'm not very knowledgable there, I'd just say that everything has a beginning. There was no sin in Heaven before Lucifer sinned. He was the first.
God did create the angels with free will and Lucifer became corrupt; thus becoming the first sinner.

There wasn't sin, there was choice. The wrong choice was made in Heaven by Lucifer.

Simple - there never was a "Lucifer." The passages that people say are about Lucifer are actually about the King of Tyre. The prophet compared the King to the planet Venus, which rises over the horizon as the brightest star just before dawn, and drops quickly back below the horizon. The King of Tyre, likewise, rose over the horizon and then fell from glory. The Hebrew word for the planet Venus was "Light Bearer," because it is always rose just before dawn. In Latin, "Light Bearer" is "Lucifer" ("Luc" = light, "fer" = carry). In later centuries, Medieval folks spoke of "Lucifer" as an actually being, who was identified with satan. In fact, Scripture does not even contain the word "Lucifer," and does not describe any kind of "fall" of an Archangel. The word 'satan' ("tempter") is a generic term for temptation - that is why it is never capitalized (as a personal name) in the Greek. The Apostle Paul himself taught that there were no other lords or gods but God - if satan/Lucifer actually existed in Christian theology, he would be a little "god." The Bible even mentions the surprise that the damned will express when they learn the truth about satan...
Goodness! I can't believe all of the myths that people have picked up about Lucifer! Maybe they should look it up in the Bible and see just how many vereses about Lucifer are NOT in there!

Lufier was a very pretty angel until he said he was more power-ful than god and alot of the angels agreeed that lucifer was more greater so he got thrown down to the pits of hell and so did the angels who agreeed with lucifer that they could over throw God.

God gave us all free will. Some of the angels in heaven left their appointed positions and rebelled against God's Love.

Well because it's All Made Up -It's a violent story set way back in the day to scare the ignorant into believing that somehow a loving and omnipotent God created this seemingly good angel who was "secretly" evil (even though God would have known this since God created him) So the whole point of the Fairy Tale is to scare some people into "their" faith-So by giving them your money and listening to them tell you that now you will not go to this burning hell with some evil monster now because you have "FAITH" in their "religion" is the whole point to this--Don't believe it, it's just more religious rubbish trying to get your money--You know that religion is a now HUGE money market now making billions in revenue every year

Lucifer is the name of a dynasty of babylonian kings.
Satan's name is Nicolaus.
God created the angels and gave them free will just as he did humans. Some chose the wrong way. God in his infinite wisdom knew how important free will is, that he gave us freedom knowing some of us would chose the wrong way.
Kind of sad that we did.

Good question.
Lucifer is a created being like any scholar on earth, if he uses his freewill to act against the Will of God, he condemns himself to darkness.
When a man turns his back to the sun, he naturally faces his shadow; this is simply the effect of the universal law of causality.
