Occasionally a person faces various physical and spiritual sorrows and troubles in the world. Amongst these are feelings so intense that they cannot be compared with any other physical pain. This feeling that causes such great distress in the human soul is a feeling called "regret."
There are two completely different forms of regret, however. The regret felt by people of faith and the regret that non-believers experience. These two feelings are extremely different from one another.

So many people convert to Islam each year, but no Muslim has ever converted to any other religion. Doesnt that prove the correctness of the religion? Islam is the most peaceful religion, all terrorists use religion as an excuse.

Hell is neither here nor there. Hell is inside our own body and mind.
Due to our desires that cannot be fulfilled and due to longings and
greed that cannot be satisfied, we generate the fires of greedy desire and resentful anger, which burn our own body and mind.
~ Buddha

What do you think?

Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, will use a Koran once owned by President Thomas Jefferson and now in the Library of Congress at his ceremonial swearing-in Thursday.

What would you use? Why? What reaction do you think it would provoke from (face it, they have a siege mentality) Christians?

For example, my first choice was The Origin of Species, but I just know all kinds of idiots would come out of the woodwork and say, "See? Evolution is a religion!"

Anyhoo, I thought this might make an interesting topic.
