It seems to be a fairly common assumption in religious circles that atheists are inherently immoral and I have also seen religious fundamentalists regard atheists as literally demonic. In fact atheists are persecuted in the US on this basis, ranging from not being able to get a job to having their homes burned down.

Many atheists subscribe to the scientific view that humans have evolved to be as they are. From this it is very simple to see that had humans not had cooperative traits that we would never have reached humanity. In fact, all decent morality is as a direct result of evolution. We don't need a riddiculous book from the late bronze age to tell us right from wrong.

how do you perceive atheists, their morality or propensity for evil?

My son asked me, "If Adam and Eve were the first humans made, then where do the caveman and dinosaurs come in?" In what order did this occur? Can anyone explain this to me?

You know what Christians, I believe many Christians will be left here to face the tribulaton as they are not ready. I am. Jesus has showed me in a vision in the middle of last year that me and my sister will be alive when the rapture happens, and I also had an end times visions in the middle of 2005 and that was very biblical. And plus I had my dreams and visions backed up at prayer ministry by the Holy spirit. I hate when people call the holy spirit a lier. That is blasphemy. Some people are jealous about what God gives other people. If God does not what to share certain things with people he won't because he is God and he does what he wants.I know what I received from God and so does he. I do not give a toss one way or the other is people doubt it, because i have been blessed enough for it to happed to me. I have read a bood by sister Choo Thomas called Heaven is so real. It is a try story of a lady who encounterd the living Christ, and he took her to Heaven in her spirit body

Proof would always say there is no bridge. Putting a foot out to make the stone appear would be a step of faith which technically does not appeal to the Atheist theory of logic and reason only. Is it fair enough to say they would not cross such a bridge if it existed then because of the logical limitation?

According to the Bible, priesthood authority is necessary to perform saving ordinances like baptism, confirmation, etc., but which church has the authority to do so?

The Catholics claim they still have it since it was passed down in an unbroken chain since the time of Peter to the present Pope and the Mormons, to my knowledge, claim the authority was lost due to apostasy and subsequently "restored" to their prophet Joseph Smith in 1830 by the resurrected John the Baptist and Peter James and John.

And I know, I know, all churches are good, no one has a monopoly on faith, etc, etc, but someone has exclusivity on the ability to perform proper ordinances through the priesthood. Since Protestant churches all broke off from the main Catholic vein, they are out; and to my knowledge Mormons are the only ones who claim a restoration. So who is it, the Catholics or the Mormons?

Its sad to know that there is bloodshed everywhere! We kill each other just for the sake of being superior. But why can't we unite as one and live in peace??

"Eccentricity is not, as dull people would have us believe, a form of madness. It is often a kind of innocent pride, and the man of genius and the aristocrat are frequently regarded as eccentrics because genius and aristocrat are entirely unafraid of and uninfluenced by the opinions and vagaries of the crowd."

well, just a couple of weeks ago, two mormon elders/brothers came to our house preaching the "good news." so they were telling me that they were there to share the wisdom that they have learned. i mean, it ain't that bad. then they gave me the book of mormon to read. so i thought that's something new.

Is it more important to Satan and Satanists to make Christians angry by doing things such as using, displaying, and doing obeisance to the upside down Cross, or to make Christians think that by using, displaying, and doing obeisance the upside down Cross means that the upward Cross should be of significant importance to Christians?

As I said, I'm just curious on peoples opinions on religion. I'm not saying ALL religious people are rude and obnoxious. Only the hard core ones, who are actually more rude then most people I've ever met in my life.
Obviously I can't prove that someone made up god,but I'm also not telling you to "believe". I'm saying, in Pakistan, they think by killing people (suicide bombing) you goto heaven and get 10 virgins!?!?!? Hmmm. God's pretty weird if he's down for killing his own "children". I'm saying, there are so many views on who god is and what god is.But no one knows forsure. So why do religious people go out and cult people together? Is it because they're scared that the religion is dying, and they wont know what to do without belief?

One thing I don't understand is....Someone made up "GOD", why can't people understand this .... Mind over matter. Someone tells you something, your mind will automatically send signals to your brain. Like how people have a outter body experience, thats what they're told, so if they pass out, thats what they think automatically., is a bright light ect. Think about it - we don't even use close to half of our brains!Think of what we could be capable of it we had that talent to learn how... We would be gods.
Plus why don't people understand the religions that involve god were made up! I could go make a religion, and bull **** my way through it with false evidence, and i would have followers, because people are weak, and need to believe in stuff, or they crack. Because their minds can't comprehend what the real big bad world is about.... Who agrees'?
