Proof would always say there is no bridge. Putting a foot out to make the stone appear would be a step of faith which technically does not appeal to the Atheist theory of logic and reason only. Is it fair enough to say they would not cross such a bridge if it existed then because of the logical limitation?

A faith bridge is like the one in Indiana Jones movies - each step makes a stone appear until you can get across. You are stepping into thin air. Once you commit the stones appear.

Let the faithful cross a faith bridge first, and I'll happily give it a go.

What faith bridge? Are you talking about a hidden bridge like in the Raiders of the Lost Ark movie? I'd do like Indiana Jones did, and throw some gravel on the bridge to make sure it's there before crossing.
Would you step off a cliff out into thin air and fall to your death because someone told you there was an invisible bridge there?

Let's have an experiment.
Let the faithful walk out to a big bridge in New York, or Golden Gate bridge in SF and then step off the middle - I want to see if God will guide them back to land.
Faith bridges indeed... Atheists do not have logical limitations - they're ability to think, rationalise and analyse is whats made them atheists in the first place.

R.A. Torrey was the most logical person I've ever read. He convinced more atheists than anyone else of come across by bridging with logical litigation. So yes it would work.

In an atheists mind the bridge would not exist in the first place......therein lies your connundrum. So no, it is not fair to say they would cross the bridge "if" it existed....because faith would be the only thing in a theists mind that makes that bridge exist......and not exist in an atheists mind.

The answer is no. And there really are "faith bridges" in life. I happen to be crossing one now. That is to say that there are transitions that one must make from time to time in life. And for those of us who know God, and follow the leadership of His word and Spirit (rather than the influence of our circumstances), we are able to make these transitions smoothly and with confidence and security - even though at times there is great opposition that is pressing against us. We can follow His guidance to go to places of blessing that He has prepared for us, which we did not even know existed. Is this important? YES! Because where people without God are just reacting to their circumstances, and just trying to get through the best they can somehow, we who are in Christ have the ability to pray, and seek His guidance. We actually move with Him from one level of blessing, to another greater level of blessing as we wait on Him and do things His way. Mind you, there are a lot of tests and trials that go along with this, but there is also a lot of glorious victory also.

In my world bridges are built of steel and concrete. If I put my foot out into thin air my faith tells me i will get wet.

What is this Faith Bridge? Is this when a person walks "through air" based on the faith that god will save them? If so, have you ever seen ANYONE cross one successfully?

Athiests are people of great faith. They have faith in their belief that there is no god, and in some kind of philosophy (most often science) that allows them to "prove" that God does not exist.
