When buying a rosary, does it matter what center is used? I know there are many choices these days (Miraculous medal, Scapular, St. Patrick, etc). I've heard some women in my church say it's not a rosary unless it has a Miraculous medal center (or a small Miraculous medal charm on the center), but with all the choices out there, does it matter if the rosary has St. Patrick on the center?

Please no rude answers.

Don't you think an omniscient god would see through such shallow, and self-serving faith?

A simple lead in to a very broad question.
Time and again I see Christian responses to questions that indicate, if not outright state, that true morality only resides in those that love Jesus (not universal among Christians, but plentiful).

Is this because you believe the Holy Spirit resides in all of us and leads us to do good? What about those who blaspheme against it, who commit the unpardonable sin (i.e. non-believers and atheists) by denying it outrigt? Why do you suppose that the vast majority of agnostics and atheists are fully as ethical and moral as any Christian?

If you don't believe that it is only the Holy Spirit which prompts a person to be good, then why on earth do you believe that only a follower of Jesus can be truly moral?

If you believe none of this and realize that morality can and does exist outside of religious thought... then I applaud you.

Those that wrote about Jesus during and just after his death, burial and resurrection, or those that wrote about Jesus several hundred years later that had no relationship with him and had no one around to question for verifiable information.

I mean think about the process of logical thinking...He created our food before he created us? Whats the point? I mean why not create us first then give us something to eat! That makes so much more sense. Plus why do we feel so special about God..I mean he thought up a Chicken before he thought of us!

In the sense that we, as humans, make our own destiny?

In comparison, the Christian notion of existence and obedience to a Cosmic Muffin of some sort just seems hopeless and infantile.

where they take a dab from the New Testament and a slice of the Old to make an answer for one question.

Then later they answer another using the New Testament and point out that the Old Testament law is no longer relevant.

Isn't showing something in light of something else taking it out of context?

Isn't Paul applying the law about not yoking a donkey and an ox to marriage taking it out of context?
