Where are Bungle and George?
I don't believe in George because I don't believe in any imaginary creatures.

For me it comes down to a question of "If not God, then why not nothingness?" But I wouldn't say I 'believe' in God, it's more like I'm of the opinion that there is something beyond what we can observe or comprehend.

1) I am more secure,I know God is protecting me where ever I am. You may say this is coincidence, but without God where is all the things you see in this world. Take for instance I know God make a perfect man in me. Eyes to see, nose to smell, mouth to eat, ears to listen, teeth to bite, hands & limbs to move and even made different sexes to reproduce. But we human beings does not realise the greatness of God, humilating one another, create chaos in this world, thus God is angry and you can see natural disaster in this world, God keep telling us to realise our benefits from God, God can make you and can take you away.

I heard she was black...
HA, just kidding.
WHY don't I believe? Simple...where's the proof? Why would "He" have allowed 9-11 to happen? I don't believe in a "being" that would whimsically allow grief to happen when people die and then tell them to "just get over it, it's my will". That ain't the way it works, it's all just a big crutch and a pacifier for those who can't think for themselves.

I don't
but i feel i have a good handle on why most do...
I’m inclined to believe the biggest attractions to religion is fear.
Fear of death, fear of dying, fear of loosing for ever someone you love.
Toss in a religion (any one, they all are primarily the same) and there’s now no need to fear death because it becomes a transitional period, dying becomes a rite of passage, and every one you ever lost will be waiting for you on the other side as well you’ll be there to greet the ones you left behind.
With that, we ease the fears every living creature on earth has.
In the day to day life of a religious person, the faith they follow takes on a parental role.
The greater part of ones developmental years is safe-guarded by your parents, as a result your comfort is in that you are being watched over and protected.
Statistics show the number is amazingly higher in women who feel the need to be watched over and protected.
It seems to be true, many men I spoke to who tell me it’s their wives who badger them into going, or their moms who drug them into church.
The male ego tends to give us the “I can stand on my own” mind frame hence no need for the “parent” to look on.
The safety and serenity of “someone who loves me is watching over me” is an addictive drug.

Look at the alternative to God. That is a good reason to follow him.

hey Pangel, you do know that god says that mediums like yourself are to be stoned to death, right? (Leviticus 20:27)...maybe you should ask your spirit friends what they think ayout god advocating the death of their mediums?
