I mean, if we're just God's crazy lab experiment, what is the point of living? Why not just kill yourself?

Actually alot of God believers have felt this way for real. And do kill themselves, or get into major depression.
Either they feel like rubbish because they cant live up to the standards god has laid out for them
Or They feel like Gods little puppet
or Their life is so crap and Heaven is so fantastic, its best to kill your self and go there because they said the special prayer and therefore have to be admitted.

Even having the view that God is there and you better figure it out before you die can be overwhelming for many and lead to depression and then drug abuse

If we are in God's crazy lab experiment - of course our life is still worth living. You have to admit - We are our parent's crazy lab experiment to begin with. There are still many things to enjoy about life in a universe that has God. Roller coasters. Cotton Candy. Good friends.

Think of it this way - you can enjoy the friends and shared experience of being in school even if you don't agree with the big master plan of the principal (I know I did). Why can't you be the same way in a universe that has God's master plan?

Atheists and Believers should respect each other - it is the respect and kind treatment of others that makes life hopeful and worth living.

you dont seem to understand peoples thoughts about God
we arent a lab experiment in any way
and life is worth living despite what you believe ... God or no God

there is a problem with your theory; atheists believe there is no god, so to them there is no god, period.

anyway, just because you dont have some divine purpose means there's no point in living? i think not. an atheist wouldnt care anyway. god, instead of being total bullshit, would just be a bullshit person. i fail to see the difference

Basically yeah.

You don't know what God's will is: Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher, Politician.

Why doesn't God just send us emails and say "you will be a janitor..." At least that way we know what the path of least resistance will be.

That is a rather ignorant statement. I don't believe in any deity and my life is very meaningful and fulfilling.

When you have children. They may ask themselves the same question.

If I'm just some atheists ejaculation, what is the point of living? Why not just kill myself?
