The religious just seem to be concerned with themselves being forgiven and everyone else can burn .

Are there any Christians that came to Christianity after being an atheist?
Why did you choose to become a Christian instead of staying an atheist?

I was once an atheist myself and questioned my faith in my beliefs because of how I viewed other atheists around me.
In fact it was atheism that helped to turn me to God.
All atheists are doing great work for God by sheparding his flock towards him. A round of applause for you all.

The pastor will hug the follower and " I'm happy you have come " you are in light - they are in dark ?

Is this the way usually a cult religion act's to isolate their followers apart from the rest of the world?

Why the christian followers think - they are unique and the outside world is moron. Christians are gifted . .? out side world is evil and scary place :-) ?

I'm a Christian and was just curious what some other people's opinions might be on backsliding. Why do you think we sometimes feel farther away from God then other times? Thanks for your input and God bless.

i met a guy during the session in which he inspected a house. the lady owner always dream of ghosts. he said that ghost is from one of the many trees behind the house. the house directly above is vacant for many years because it is haunted. this guy started seeing things after he got lost in the jungle for about 2 weeks. there, he saw unimaginable things. Another GUY there sees histories of the places. he sees large size warriors from the past, appearing in a distance, he cannot miss it because it too huge and clear. his first son sees evil things. his third son sees good things. i had experience of being transported fom one place to another, but no one believes . does anyone out there knows about these things, seriously. no joke please.

...being cremated or being an organ donor?

I'm a Wiccan and I don't think there's an official Wiccan stance, but I know that I feel like organ donation is VERY important social responsibility. I also intend for them to cremate what is left of me because I think that modern burial is bad for the earth (wastes space and the body's nutrients aren't allowed to absorb back into the ground).

Please state your religion and tell whether or not you're allowed to organ donate or cremate yourself - I'm curious.

Can we talk about anything here or are there subjects that we should discuss? I ask because it feels like it is easy to offend believers even without trying. I got a question removed and it wasn't blasphemous or anything else....Tell me what subject is a no no!

That man will scare the living hell of you. Which is a good thing. I think we need more preachers who aren't scared to preach the Word of God. God is love but God is also a God of judgement. I think we forget that. But preacher like John Hagee makes you remember it

Some say staying among them is as trying to turn the Titanic.
Many Lutherans are leaving and going unto Unity instead.
Many Catholics are not leaving, but going with Bishop Spong.

When Jesus did the right thing and was baptized by John in the Jordan river that was witnessed by all that were around....What was the source of the voice that everyone heard? That said, "This is my Son of whom I am well pleased." Was it just there combined imaginations? Surely everyone could not have thought the same thing, Or was it God speaking out of thin air?

The main word is (WITNESSED!) everybody..

Isn`t the today`s church a kind of social club?
i mean the most of the people who go to church go there so others can see how christ-like they are...but their daily actions aren`t at all christ-like
p.s. i don`t say that other religion is better or that i`m better than them, i`m just a freethinker and i`m trying to understand this situation.

I would guess that you have never even met a so-called Christian(follower of Christ) that has ever fasted, prayed and meditated intensely, given of their riches to serve God and His children... or anything else that he did. So how do you base your logic on the examples of modern Christianity which do not even resemble Christ's path?

Not to be callous, I'd just hate to think you were given the option and would still end up sitting next to a Christian in hell)
