Didn't Paul get mad because Luke was hanging out with the gentiles and posing as one of them, but then acting like a Jew when the Jews were around.

I guess God would be mad at them.

Why would it be unethical when the question we pose could save someones life. It is not bad to ask a question on Yahoo that you have heard before just to get responses. I mean its against the Bible to say I am an Atheist if you are not, but its just an evangelical tool as long as you are following God's laws.

God Bless

Bearing false witness would, I assume, include declaring oneself as an atheist to impugn the reputation of atheists as having only half-thought out their positions. [Interesting that breaking the 10 commandments only matters if you're NOT a Christian (or Jew) and don't believe your bound to them, but if you are a believer, you can disregard them because your sins are forgiven.]

And, sadly I believe, it makes Christians look like scheming, manipulative, the-end-justifies-the-means liars.

If the message on its own isn't compelling, then perhaps it's the message, not the medium.

Ya, it's a bit deceptive.

I'd just ask the question straight out as a christian.

Do atheists consider it unethical to pose as a fundamentalist Christian just to see how many people they can tick off? ;)
