For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to the end that all who believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Well, yes, he was the son of God, but also keep in mind that Adam and everyone else is also his children. Jesus, however, might be a direct son and everyone else, not quite in the same way. Yes I do believe that Jesus was the son of God. There's also mention in the Gospel of John where it says, "and the word became flesh". Possibly, what that means is that Jesus and God are one in the same, since Jesus was mortal and flesh. Unlike Judaism and Islam, Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah and in Greek, the word for Messiah is Christos. So, to conclude, Jesus is the Christos and even if you are Jewish or Muslim, they still believe in Jesus, just in another way.

No. Substitutionary atonement (someone else paying my sin-price) and sacrifice outside the Temple are both invalid according to the Sacrificial Laws given to the Jews by G-D.
I don't think G-D would have broken the rules, and thus the Covenant, G-D made with the Jews.
Sorry, Jesus failed to fulfill the most important of the prophecies regarding HaMosiach (to distinguish from the other messiah, such as David and Solomon, who were annointed kings of Israel [and thus messiahs]).

I do not believe this. We are all the children of G-d---Jesus no more or no less than any of us. And, I believe that no one can pay for another's sins.
I think this was made up by the church, in order to get people to convert----thinking they would have life eternal, and a safe way out.

Plenty of people believe that- but I don't. I take responsibility for actions I take- not Jesus.
