Well the Jury is out. Catholics of course love all Nuns regardless of rumours and suspicion. Without doubt we shall have another St Theresa some day, this will be pursued more strongly than is usual, as Christianity desperately needs a worldwide icon, and the religious press have been building her case for some years. There has been some mention of `missing money`, attracting worldwide attention usually sucks in money for your cause, and this is where the doubts enter the picture. It was recently claimed by a man of medicine who knew M T, that she and her following cared more for the last rites, and religious ceremony than for the living. This person claimed that MT was always reluctant. and often refused access to doctors and medical staff, preferring always to be there at the ` moment of last rites`. Claiming that MT was not (up to it/qualified?) as a medical expert, the complainant was puzzled that so much charitable cash had not resulted in any worthwhile medical facilities, he finished by saying that MT resented referring patients away from her controlled environs, and that attitudes towards medical intervention was medieval. True or not, this is not the first version of this story that I have heard, All Catholics will deny this without further investigation. In time we shall have another Saint to add to the pantheon of crooks, murderers, hypocrites, and mentally unstable, that the Papacy considers Holy.

She had great love for Jesus. Her love involved sacrifice.
Make us worthy, Lord, to serve those people throughout the world who live and die in poverty and hunger. Give them through our hands, this day, their daily bread, and by our understanding love, give them peace and joy.
I heard the call to give up all and follow Christ into the slums to serve Him among the poorest of the poor. It was an order.
I was to leave the convent and help the poor while living among them.
When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her.
It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.
You and I, we are the Church, no? We have to share with our people. Suffering today is because people are hoarding, not giving, not sharing.
Jesus made it very clear. Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.
Give a glass of water, you give it to me. Receive a little
child, you receive me.
Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world.
If we really want to love we must learn how to forgive.

Lady with a good heart and a lot of love for people so I've heard...but for all her work if it was not in the name of Jesus it was all useless.

if we all acted a little more like Her and practiced some of Her virtues then perhaps the world would be a better place to live

A devoted carer, but is seen sometimes as almost glorifying the death of the poor, as christians sometimes do. Her heart was in the right place, but like most believers, her brain wasn't.

One of the best people to ever walk the earth. She gave freely of herself for the betterment of many. She sacrificed everything for God and was a shining example for the world. She's a saint and my hero.

A true example of loving others with humility thru service. A true "angel" of God. We need more people like her.
1) Ask God to help me accept others as they are
2) Love others as they are
3) Caring and sharing
4) Humility
5) Forgiveness

Mother Teresa scammed millions of dollars and only spent a tiny fraction of it helping the poor. Sad but true.
