3/4 of the stupid statements made on Yahoo, about Islam, are made by people who do not know a thing about Islam. And, I do not think they are interested in learning anything about it. They just want to slam it.

Just for arguments sake, lets say Islam is the most peaceful religion in history. If the followers of that religion do not follow the teachings, it becomes as evil as they make it. Do you get it??? These terrorist are evil. They claim they follow the teachings of the quran. Yet when they bomb some crowded market place killing people, they claim they did it in the name of allah. When they call for a jihad or holy war on the infidels, all non believers, they are making Islam into an evil religion. What could looking into Islam possibly accomplish? It doesn't matter what it is, when people twist it to what they want it to be.

A person, or country is first from what they do..
Why should I waste my time and energy on reading about Muslims, when I just have to look and see what they do in the World, what they do is who they are, at least that is what I have been taught.. you do Good and are Good, you do Evil and are Evil.. I never thought of them at all in either way, but their violence and what I seen on tv, has shown me a Violent people, a Violent Religion.. They are what they do.. at least to me that is how I see them. I do not need to know why they do all they do, and how they were persecuted ages back and the bad things that history has done to them.. Every country has a history, and many countries have lived through terrible wars, famine and tragedies, but it is only the brave and good ones that keep on going without violence and keep giving to the world not violence but goodness in every level, medically, financially, first aid, spiritually, etc etc.
By the way learn how to spell Muslims, before you ask another question relating to Muslims, at least shown them some respect on spelling their Name right.

Because while we're undergoing a self-examination of our relationship with Islam, half of the self-proclaimed "moderate" Muslims are lying through their teeth and funneling money to Al Qaeda and Hezbollah. This "study" some say we should engage in is nothing more than a smokescreen and stalling tactic.

I have a copy of the koran. I know what islam is. I have 5 copies of the bible. Let the numbers speak for themselves as to where I think the truth lies.

Islam is the belief in one God, to pray to God 5x a day, give charity, fast, and make a trip to Mecca if you can afford it once in your life.
