Christians want everyone to be forgiven. It's your choice whether to accept this or not.

If you read the posts on this site, you know that it is not true that the religious are concerned only with themselves being forgiven. There are so many people on here speaking of their faith and trying to help others understand how important it is to have faith. Why would they do that if they aren't trying to help you see the need to be forgiven? Many people are ridiculed on here constantly for trying to share their hope in Jesus.

js: Stalin was an atheist and he didn't care about the future for millions since he mass-murdered millions of Russians. You are coming across as atheists being a religion, whereby, should you be one, you are "good" because you are considerate about the future of others. Well; global warming, nuclear arms build-ups, disease pandemics, national debt in the trillions ... this is because atheists are giving the future generations "hope" for a better future. Com'on now !!! The only burning we will all have to endure is that of the high temperatures from global warming. I thought atheists were more "scientific" in their evaluations of the facts ? !!! .......... WOW !!!

I'm Indian and we are concerned with 7 generations out. I bless my children by being dedicated to Bible doctrine. I am not religious, I have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I get to know his mind. The Bible is the mind of Christ.
God is not willing that any should perish. He grieves for the beloved unbeliever. I grieve for the unbeliever. I support freedom though. Everyone has a right to believe as they choose. Peace out.

No.

I know that Pagans have hope for future generations; this hope is expressed through respect for the planet we live on, and efforts to ensure that it will survive the destructive greed of most of the human race.

I don't know if we're the only ones, but it's freaky how some people believe that the world is coming to an end soon and that there is no point in doing anything for future generations and passing an inhabitable earth down to them and some people just don't give a damn about people who don't share their faith. The "you're either with us or against us" has been imprinted in them and they think that everyone who disagrees with them must be evil.

What hope is a gray world in which you were a cosmic accident and your life means nothing because you were a cosmic accident and that you're not supposed to place anything or anyone above you.

The religionists seem to all believe that the environment doesn't matter because the End is Coming and they expect to be "Raptured" into heaven by Christs Holy Vacuum Cleaner.

The biggest complaint on YA is that Christians try to lead everybody to Christ. Now you complain that they don't. Who is right?
