In the sense that we, as humans, make our own destiny?

In comparison, the Christian notion of existence and obedience to a Cosmic Muffin of some sort just seems hopeless and infantile.

Peace W: the question was addressed to atheists. Are you an atheist? What the hell is G-d"?

Yes, life has more meaning because it makes more sense. Life believing in God is a cartoon life. The world doesn't make sense, because there's little consistency in religion. "God did it" is a shallow answer that discourages further inquiry.

Atheism, on the other hand, is free of religious superstition. You are allowed to find real answers to questions and take a realistic look at issues that religions consider "taboo", instead of having your worldview spoon-fed to you.

I'm a Christian and my life has more meaning then you can even begin top realize, because not only do I have a better handle of living in this world, but have the hope of an eternal life. Remember, as one person reminded me recently, that without G-d there would be no atheists.

I would say that without god life could have more meaning. The idea that everything we are seizes to exist upon death pretty much takes away any spiritual meaning in life, but it also lets the comfortable non-believers find meaning in more immediate, practical, and tangible things like human relationships, nature, and cell phones.

It has meaning for me. I can't say it is more meaning. It doesn't seam they do much in pursuit of their Cosmic Muffin other than gather in a social group and do a few incantations. to appease him from Sunday to Sunday. Mostly other than that there are the moral restraints. Some of them are very strange, but most are hardly observed at all anyway. It is a strange group I'll admit but little less strang than everyone else. Sick him Bad Buddhist.

Horay for our side huh?

Do you realize how boring it gets to constantly see people praise their own beliefs while condemning others?

There is a point to your 'question' (a self guided life compared to a God guided life) but why do you need to add all the crap (your belief 'clearly' having more 'meaning' while Christians are "hopeless and infantile")?

For people who pride themselves in thinking straight, people like you are as mush brained as most fundamentalists.

As a son of an athiest mother, i was raised without religion or faith in God. Yet when i was given the option to believe in God and had my prayers answered immediately! I knew that my life was more complete and full.
I was vacant and hopeless without faith in God, so I KNOW it is MORE EMPTY to NOT have a god.
Blessings come with repentance and righteousness. guaranteed.
