Those are admirable sentiments. I like his emphasis on modesty, not being a slave to fashion etc. I think the hijab, Al-Amira, Shayla, Khimar and Chador are all fine and i don't see why some non-Muslims make such a fuss about them.

But i also think the burqa and the niqab, those Muslim women's fashions that cover the face, are an over-reaction and impractical. People want to see the faces of people the speak to for non-verbal communication cues, so it impairs communication. It also can be abused by criminals to hide their identity, like robbers wearing a mask. I don't see why a Muslim woman can't show her face and still be modest. I think some Muslim women would agree, which is why not all of them cover their faces.

Having said that, i respect freedom of expressionand freedom of religion so i support the right of Muslim women who want to wear such things. They may be disadvantaging themselves by impairing their ability to be understood by other people but if they feel strongly about it, let them wear what they like.

sorry it woudnt play on my computer. but im pretty sure its amazing. iv heard loadz before and they're great. really show how islam doesnt in fact demean women as many people think but rather the opposite. Bless you.

well when a muslim women wear hejab or niqab
all christians stands against her and it's satan who order her to cover her beauty .........
but when a nun cover her hair and neck they say it's for god sake ....
