I hear words like Tiqiyya and kitman (holy hypocracy) and I wonder how do these teachings that contradict Holy Scripture get wide acceptance if Muslems actually read their scriptures??

I know there is a lot of accepted scripture twisting in Christianity which is the result of very few studying to show themselves approved but it is this also true for Muslems ??

Honestly, why do people call Christianity 'dangerous' ?? Are we hijacking planes ? Are we chopping off the heads of non-believers ? Are we 'threatening' to do any of this ? Does the Pope EVER condone violence ? Does the Pope EVER incite violence ?

Really man, what's the deal ? I don't go around 'claiming' that Atheists are doing these things !!!!!!

... and every time these exact dates have come and gone without incident. Since Jehovah's Witness has been proven a false religion with each of these passings, why do you still refuse to believe in the pre-existent Christ of the Trinity?

I have no problems with other peoples beliefs, though I may not agree with them or how they present it to the world. I still feel it's not a problem for you to believe what you want. So it's difficult for me to understand how intolerant some can be about other peoples beliefs.

Where do the different denominations come down on this? The Orthodox believe that it's the inspired Word of God? Do Southern Baptists believe you can interpret the Bible for yourself? What about other denominations?

I ask this broadly of every walk of life here that asks and responds to these questions. I see a lot of people that ask questions, thinking the answer will be one thing, and the majority of the answers are different than what they expected. And people answering questions wrongly, about religions or lack of religion, in which they are not a part of. Example: One poster asked yesterday if the Christians will be angry if the Atheists and the other religions go to Heaven too. All the Atheists that answered said the Christians would be angry... all the Christians that answered said they would not be. Another question was asked to the Atheists about man being evolved from monkeys.. The Christians agreed that this is what Atheists believe, but the Atheists (those who answered seriously) denied that we came from "monkeys"

Have you been shown through any answers that what you believed about someone else, was not true? What have you learned here?

Mormonism taught for years that people were black because they were being punished for the sins of a past life. In recent decades however and during the civil rights era when people were boycotting BYU games because of such beliefs mormons suddenly dropped this belief.
This leaves one question: Does real mormonism really teach this and people who claim to be mormons deny what they really believe for the sake of convenience OR with this about face has Mormonism been proven to be a false religion?
I am glad they have dropped the openly racist attitude but the above question still begs for an answer.

Is Kundalini Reiki the same as Reiki Tummo, gTumo, Serpent Fire Tummo?

Kundalini is said to be very dangerous for "non-experts". Reiki seems to be relatively save. Does Kundalini Reiki involve Kundalini energy? If not, what else is it? If so, is it save and why?

How do you know? (Very important in this kind of matter...)

I believe I am a Christian but have attended many churchs throughout my life and are usually disappointed. My mother wants me to go to church with her (she's Independent Baptist) but I find the people and the pastor very judgemental and arrogant. They will say something to you if you are not wearing a dress or reading out of the KJV bible. And they seem to think they are the only one's "saved" or going to heaven. They seem to constantly bash other denominations. The other churches I've attended in the past the Sunday School teacher was having an affair. Also some of the elders cursed more than a sailor and had bad attitudes. I have been visiting my Aunt's church which is Episcopalian and it was different but I didn't hear any name calling and them saying they were the only ones going to heaven. Any suggestions?????

does the Quran say that Jesus will worship Mohammad when he comes back to earth? So Mohammad is just a man, but he's better than all the other men? I'm really not understanding that.

I don't mean offend people by this question. Please understand it is simply an inquisitive query.
Why was there such a massive Muslim outcry, and sometimes very threatening? I remember seeing on the news people holding banners threatening to "kill all those who insult Islam" or "the phrophet".
Why were these people like this?
Is there any need, when many Muslims were calmy using their right to protest and getting their point across?
Can someone explain why people felt that?

Please don't offend anyone in your answers.

God did not want Adam and Eve to be like puppets, so God gave them freedom of choice by instructing them not to eat the forbidden fruit. What are your thoughts or views on this question, "Would you rather have a world with freedom of choice" in which we have now which includes the suffering of people, and ultimately death. Or a perfect, innocent world (free from pain, sin and sorrow) in which Adam and Eve lived in until the forbidden fruit had been eaten.

In other words, for an American based Muslim, they would go to their local mosque and an Imam would help with translation of verses etc correct? What about if the Imam had questions, where do they go?

What I am trying to figure out is more or less where are American Muslims getting their interpretation of Islam seeing as there are so many differing interpretations out there.
