Honestly, why do people call Christianity 'dangerous' ?? Are we hijacking planes ? Are we chopping off the heads of non-believers ? Are we 'threatening' to do any of this ? Does the Pope EVER condone violence ? Does the Pope EVER incite violence ?
Really man, what's the deal ? I don't go around 'claiming' that Atheists are doing these things !!!!!!

You are correct. The perceived danger is that unrepentant evil people don't like to feel bad so they try to snuff out the truth of God because it endangers their evil lifestyle.

The last violent act by Christians (as a group) was during the Crusades. However, during early colonization of the Americas and Indonesia, the missionaries performed deeds that many Christians today would deeply frown upon, including forced religion, raping indigenous women, and torturing the native peoples until they accepting the Christian faith. There have been various isolated events of extreme violence since then and inbetween, such as the assassinations of Popes (which is why it was quite common for a Pope's reign to last for only a few months in certain cases). So, in the past the Popes and their followers have instigated violent acts towards other peoples and other Christians, but since the colonization era of the Americas and Indonesia, these events have seemingly stopped.

I'm a Muslim but I do not agree with anything which suggests that a religion is dangerous. Regardless of doctrinal differences, all religions in the world (except for the Church of Satan I suppose) teach their believers to treat each other with kindness and compassion and to establish a peaceful world. Christianity, being one of the 3 great Abrahamic faiths is no exception.
However, it must be understood that desperate circumstances may call for desperate measures, provided and taught by the religions. For this reason, perhaps, Pope Urban commissioned the Crusades. As a Muslim and considering that the Crusades were launched against Muslims to retake Jerusalem, it might be unbefitting for me to comment on the Crusades approved by none other than His Holiness the Vicar of Christ himself.
God knows best.

Not since The Crusades.
Killing in the name of Allah and killing in the name of freedom are polar opposites in my opinion.

There is a hard core group in Ireland, that incite violence against the other group, while thier children scream in terror, while trying to attend kindergarten. They are putting thier children through hell because they love thier War God.

If you don't think Christians are violent , you should try growing up as a goth kid in the Bible belt. I guarantee you'd change your mind.
