It depends. If he's using cologne to cover up the fact that he hasn't bathed anytime recently, then yes. It's a sin.

No it is not a sin for a man to wear cologne. Unless those who are close to you are extremely allergic and will die as a result of your decision to wear cologne.

Not unless you belong to a sect or cult that says it is; then, I guess, for you, it is.
For the rest of us, it is not. I would say it's more of a "sin" to go around either smelling bad from poor hygiene or reeking from 4 feet away because you put on too MUCH cologne.

I'm sure you probably got this from some extremist website, but the fact is that this is not true. Even the prophets themselves wore it and encouraged it. And no, muslims don't go everyday without showering. It's part of the religion to take at least one every day, more if you've had sexual intercourse. Perfume is allowed, but it's better if it doesn't have alcohol in it. Like oils and other nice smelling fragrances.

No. Sin is doing something you know is wrong. Cologne is only a sin if they know it will make them smell worse than they already do.

depends on its affects on others (causing someone to have an allergic reaction for instance)
it also depends on what the cologne is, if any creature had to suffer or die to produce the cologne it is a sin (in my opinion)
despite what others may say, this is a good question

I think not, I often wear cologne instead of clothing; although I think my nieghbours would prefer the reverse. We'll all just have to get used to each other. Tonight is just another night in my life, I think I'll wear the Deville ( It's from France! ), I hope my Girlfriend likes it!!!!

Of course not, but some people are allergic to certain smells. I pick my mans out to make sure it won't bother me when he wears it.
