I'm a dumb person , which is the best job I can get ? be a pastor or a doctor?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?link=...

Based on I.Q. tests given to members of different professions, pastors scored the lowest. The intelligence of some pastors is equivalent to that of an adult monkey, or a 3 year old child. Some border on retardation.

In th last century, nearly 800,000 people died in wars lead by athiest regimes, Wars are fought over resources, it has nothing to do with religion although it may seem that way to win the approval of the simple minded masses it's all about the economy.

Athiests, your thoughts?

Serious question. For those who believe in an afterlife of paradise (which doesn't include me), isn't your natural, Earth-bound life just a bit of a drag? Aren't you just itching to get to the eternal bliss part?

If you pray hard enough and want something more than anything will god answer it for you? I have learned in the past that it has felt like he has, even with things that seem hopeless, however could that just be luck?

What about Amakelites? He doesn't love them.

Exodus 17:14
And the Lord said to Moses, Write this for a memorial in the book and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens.

Exodus 17:16
And he said, Because [theirs] is a hand against the throne of the Lord, the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

1 Samuel 15:3
Now go and smite Amalek and utterly destroy all they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey

1 Chronicles 10:13
So Saul died for his trespass against the Lord [in sparing Amalek], for his unfaithfulness in not keeping God's word, and also for consulting [a medium with] a spirit of the dead to inquire pleadingly of it,

Please if you don't believe in this sort of stuff, don't answer.

What I mean is, the commonly-held belief is that our sins against God are so bad, they deserve eternal punishment. But Christ died for our sins, so that anyone who believes in Him can be accepted by God because of His sacrifice for us (the debt of our sins is paid by His blood).

But what scares the s*** out of me is the fact that HARDLY ANY people believe!! NO-ONE I know is a believer in Christ, or probably ever will be! Most people scoff and laugh at Jesus.. and not just people I know. People everywhere.

This frightens me because according to the Bible, if they havent repented and accepted Him before their death (and most won't), they are all gonna be thrown into hell.

But most 'Christians' aren't bothered by this because as far as they're concerned - they've made it to Heaven! Who cares about the rest?!

This frightens and troubles me deeply and is not exactly a topic you can bring up amongst friends.

The Bible says we should follow God's commandments and His ideal lifestyle for us. If we do not, we are punished eternally in Hell.
So, the all loving, all forgiving God will allow us to be punshsed eternally if we do not conform to His rules.
Can you make any comments regarding this please.

like every other religion, I'll need you to send me....oh lets say 8% of your income....see I'm cheaper to...

miscarriages? I belive in God and go to church every sunday. I know that I should not question God or anything that he does, but I dont understand why the baby that I loved and wanted so much, was taken away form me, but there are women out there that dont want babies and kille them after they are born, or throw them in a trash can or something. I just dont understand why he can allow a baby to be born to someone that will kill them, rather than allow someone like me to have my baby and love and care for a baby? My miscarriage happened almost 4 years ago, and since then have had two girls and 8 weeks with my third. I just cant get over the lost and hurting I have. And hearing about babies being killed or beat and abused? Why does this happen? Can anyone give me some light on this to help me feel better about this. Like I said, I do believe in God and know you should not question anything he does, but I need some answers. Thanks

Can you consider the fact that the Jesus did not die to clean the sins of humanity? Please give it a thought.
If we assume that he did not, What would it mean to you ?
If there were no original sin, how would that change the value of your acts in this life?

As they were written(in the case of the Bible at least) some 400 years after the events/people they describe and by people hundreds or thousands of miles from where the stories originated.
