One meaning means... Manly.

This girl's name is used in English. It is an alternate form of Sharmaine. Its source is Kharmion, a Greek name meaning "Delightful."

I found this

Shameem (First Name Origin and Meaning)
Arabic · Male
Variant of Shamim: Odor, scent.

Remember that you are a Muslim not an Arab - that means you dont have to have an Arabic name -many of the worlds Muslims dont- just one that isnt unislamic
(i.e suggesting idolatry)

I looked for the word in my Arabic dictionary, but did not find it there. Of course, one always has the problem in such efforts that the back-transliteration from Roman alphabet spelling to Arabic may not be done correctly, but in this case it's pretty clear that the Arabic would be shin, raa, mim, yaw, nun; and that's what I didn't find.
