miscarriages? I belive in God and go to church every sunday. I know that I should not question God or anything that he does, but I dont understand why the baby that I loved and wanted so much, was taken away form me, but there are women out there that dont want babies and kille them after they are born, or throw them in a trash can or something. I just dont understand why he can allow a baby to be born to someone that will kill them, rather than allow someone like me to have my baby and love and care for a baby? My miscarriage happened almost 4 years ago, and since then have had two girls and 8 weeks with my third. I just cant get over the lost and hurting I have. And hearing about babies being killed or beat and abused? Why does this happen? Can anyone give me some light on this to help me feel better about this. Like I said, I do believe in God and know you should not question anything he does, but I need some answers. Thanks

Im not blaming God, I just dont understand why that God knows how long we will live and what kind of life we will have before we are created, then why make a baby that was so sick or could make it out of the womb? I know miscarriages happen, but why to someone thats wants it, why not to the women that dont want the babies?

Why do you blame God?
Miscarriages happen most of the time because there is a problem with the development of the fetus. Something is happening that will not allow a viable life to be the result of the pregnancy.
A miscarriage can just as easily be seen as a second chance, or new opportunity to start the process over again so it can turn out right.
Looking at it this way, it can be seen as a gift of love from the source. This benevolence can save a child from a life of pain and suffering and give the soul a new chance to start over fresh in a healthy body that is developing properly.
You did not loose that child, she just came into your life a bit later in a healthy body. Nothing was ever lost.

The book of Job and Ecclesiastes probably come closest to giving us an answer to questions of this type. Nature is brutal and human beings can be worse than the lower animals in the way they sometimes behave. Miscarriages are usually nature's way of disposing of a fetus that would not be able to survive anyway. It often appears to be a very imperfect world in many ways. You might get and read a copy of Adelle Davis' book Let's Have Healthy Children (try Alibris.com) for some helpful suggestions on getting and staying pregnant. May God bless you and soon give the healthy baby you desire. Remember: God is not evil or malicious. He does miracles for those that love Him.

Many doctors believe early miscarriages happen because there is something wrong with the baby, so it spontaneously aborts. If you were farther along I would say you should get a second opinion from an OB/Gyn other than your own, as it could be something medical. My mother had two miscarriages before she had my sister, me and my brother, but she was into the third trimester and a second opinion found that she had an incompetant cervix (it runs in my family).
I'm very sorry for your loss, but it's likely there was something seriously wrong with the baby, and that is why you lost it. As painful as it is, it is better for you to lose a baby at 8 weeks than discover at 6 months its spine was growing outside its body or something awful like that (and yes, that does happen to people).

I know your pain I have had many and every time I have wondered till my last one when I found out what was causing them and why.
Yes it is unfair that there are women who get blesses when they don't deserve to be. Yes your loss is very real. God had another plan for you at that time. I have to believe he has another for me as well. As for everything you hear remember sometimes the devil plays part in that factor as well. When I was in the hospital with this last miscarriage there was a woman there who admitted to having her fourth child because the Native American tribe she belonged to paid her 3000.00 a kid per month. I wanted to strike out at her in every way I could but I figure this way. God has a plan for her the same way he has one for me. If he wants to bless someone that will toss his blessing aside than I am sure he has a reason for it.
My last miscarriage was at five months I actually went into labor. My child was stillborn had he lived he would have suffered immensely and I have to believe that God Spared him that.
You have been blessed with two girls who I am sure know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you love them. Your third will know the same love and your baby that didn't make it will have a relationship with God that we never will. I have to believe that there is a special place in Gods arms for unborn and stillborn children. I am sorry I don't have a better answer for you. Take care and God be with you.

I think God leaves some things up to nature. A miscarriage usually occurs when an embreyo or fetus can't sustain its own life because of chromosomal or other physiological abnormalities. You did nothing wrong and God certainly is not punishing you. Now you have been blessed with 3 healthy children. Appreciate the blessings you have and stop torturing yourself. God wants you to be happy.

God gave man the choice to right or wrong .He loves all his children . I believe If we didn't have a choice our love wouldn't be freely given,. My mother had a miscarriage between my older brother and I .I come from a family of ten and when we are all together I always feel someone is missing .I can only say God took him for his reasons . Take Care and God bless you and yours and his.

The question why does God allow suffering is probably best answered in the book of 1 Peter in the Bible. Try reading it, it is only 5 short chapters, but Peter knew what it was to suffer and gives some answers there.

It has nothing whatever to do with god. God is a mythological concept that is not real and has no effect upon the biological developments of the human species. Simply put, in biology, things can go wrong. Something went wrong during your pregnancy and your body aborted the pregnancy - mostly likely to protect your health and keep YOU from dying. Look at it this way: if your body did not have this ability you would be dead now and those two beautiful little girls you have now would never have been born. Your own human biology (which developed thru the evolutionary process) has protected you and allowed you survive to have more children. Think of it as a plus not a negative. And please stop thinking this has anything to do with the mythological concept of god. Its just biology plain and simple.

Maybe you SHOULD question what he does.
If the Founding Fathers had not questioned King George III, we'd still be speaking the Queen's English.
If the press hadn't hounded Nixon, he would have continued to drag the USA through the mud.
If the Nobles had not questioned the Monarchy in Great Britain, the Magna Carta would never have been penned.
Questioning the leadership is the only way to make progress in life.
----
Ultimately, your problem goes back to the classical philosophical problem of evil, which Christianity writes off as a consequence of free will. The flaw in this write-off is that if God knew the consequences of free will were evil, then he holds the ultimate responsibility for creating all the evil in the world -- a responsibility he claims almost arrogantly in the Old Testament and that Christians seem to forget he did claim.
God is not the all-loving, good-only deity Christians seem to paint him out to be. In fact, read the story of how God responded when Moses tried to bring them the first copy of the Commandments and found them worshipping an idol -- intentional slaughter of men, women, and children.

I am not christian but i would like to answer, you see if we all started telling God that this should be done like this and this like that then the world would have been quite unbalanced. You see we all know that this world is a testing field and we all are here because we are being tested each second of our life,God is only testing us,that if he does bad to us what will we do in return, say bad to him and simply leave our belief or stay strong till the end.God will award those who do so.After all each soul is his and will return to Him one day or the other:)
