I belive that a person is sent back to earth over and over again to learn the lessons that we did not learn in a previous life. Is this a common belief? The book, "Many lives, many masters" by Dr. Brian Weiss really opened my eyes to the possibilties of previous lives. Were most of our deep fears from previous life experiences, and do you meet the same people over and over again. Is that why you feel such a strong conection to some people immediatly and experience deja vu when you see something for the first time? Is there an end to coming back once you have learned all of your lessons? Do we each have a spiritual guide, someone that leads you through all of your lessons/lives? Is this a common belief? I would like to know if there are other people that feel the same way about "the next life"

Can you see auras? I can't , but have been reading up on learning how to and also how to read them.. any tips from those who've learnt? I've been told theres a lot of gold in my aura.

I was a Christian once, now I see how Christian upbringing contributes to create the weak under belly of our country, otherwise known as the "left-wing".

Funny thing is, most conservatives are to ignorant about the effect of Christian pacificist doctrines to see the connection. They just say stupid things like "those lefties aint Christian".

Hey idiots...those lefties sure as hell believe they are Christian and the sure as hell grew up under the influence of Christian morality. You just dont see the connection based on a narrow understand of the issue.

The issue is not whether leftists, who say they are Christian, really Christian. I dont bother to even offer a defintion of what a "true" Christian is. Rather, the issue is, what moral foundation or upbringing has given rise to the philsophical weak defeatist morality of the left. Christianty...in large part....

I just finished reading some very powerful books.
God's Debris, The Religion War and The God Delusion.

They basically made me realise that I never believed in God. I used to pray pretty much every day and devote alot of my time to god but after reading these books I had to wonder that since I don't spend every last minute (Like a monk) devoted to God do I truly believe ?

What does God want ? Do you all think that if we repent we are automatically allowed into Heaven ? Is there a God ? Is there a Heaven ? Do you believe ? WHY DO YOU BELIEVE ??

For all we know the bible or any other religous book for that matter is a fairy tale. What if there was a missing page saying "In a land far, far away."

For me to believe the following beliefs:

*Treat others as you would be treated
*Be nice
*Be generous
*Relationships with other people are what make life worthwhile
*The Earth is powerful and should be respected and used respectfully
*Raise your children to ask questions and make their own decisions
*Let others live their lives and let them let me live mine
*Respect life
*Respect the energy everywhere
*Women and men are equal in their worth though different biologically
*Religious pluralism

And not believe in a male only God who sends people to hell, and not believe in judging others.


Honestly, can that be okay with you? I mean if you knew me in real life. Put aside wanting to "save my soul", for our purposes say it absolutely would not work. Could you be my friend, or would you always just see me as that poor dumb girl who's destined to go to hell?

I dont accept religion because i think its all lies and its only for weak people who cant accept the truth. She's dating some guy who's a christian and he's trying to convert her to believe in all those lies and i told her dont fall for that garbage you know its all ******** and that theres no god he's just trying to play on your weaknesses. I'm just doing whats best for her and i dont want her to rely on lies like christianity or any other religion. How can i end the relationship between them?

What is or isn't your religion? What do you believe? What do you feel? Why did you choose the religion? Do you like it? Is it satisfying?

If you don't have a religion then what is your moral code? Did you spend alot of time deciding right from wrong? Do you even think about, or do you just do whatever you want?

I am currently in a transition stage. I used to be a Wiccan, but I decided it was wrong and I became (once again) an atheist. Now I am extremely attracted to buddhism for its wise teachings and the fact that they don't worship an absolute creator.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THUMBS DOWN TO PEOPLE WITH RELIGIONS SEPERATE FROM YOURS!!!!!!
