Satan is in control of the world and if God stepped in and helped or stopped some thing from happening then he would be helping Satan. One day every one will live under Gods rule and then and only then will there be true peace and perfect humans. Until then Satan and his demons will try and hurt each and every one of us. They want us to work against God not for him. He can stop it but he gave the world to Satan so that there will be no doubt in any ones mind that Man needs God and that man can not do it on there own.
I hope this helps.

God does not abuse children. People abuse children, sickness, hunger, poverty and war abuses children. God has given mankind free reign in the world,He is allowing us to do what we feel is right or sorry to say wrong. We live in a sinful fallen world and all these terrible things are a part of that world. Rather than blame God ask yourself,"what are you doing for God to make the world better". It is easy to criticize God and then just sit on your own hands doing nothing. If you are a Christian you are God's hands in this world. I can't believe a new Christian would accuse God of child abuse. Are you sure you know Jesus?

I don't have the perfect answer for you. I am against the abuse of children too, but then again, you know, there are so many bad things happening on this world...and I have read the apocryphes yesterday, the evangile of thomas (I don't know if I'm allowed to, I just did it and found it useful, so I accept it as a part of the bible...I have seen others though, from which I think they're not a part of it, so maybe you have to be careful with them), anyway: I have read that the one that has suffered has found life, and other interesting sentences. It's like : blessed are those who cry today, they will (see god)....I don't know exactly if it's they will see god or another blessing. But there is a scripture in the bible that says
blessed are those who cry today, they ...
blessed are those who are hungry today, they ....
etc. Maybe you should read that one. And you know, Christ was killed too....and he was innocent....the world is not such a nice and friendly and just place as we might think in our well organized lives...

first of all.we cannot accuse god for badnes in this world because god is all rigteous(job 34:10) and the bible says we cannot hold him accountable for such things happening(james 1:13)...but why are they happening like tragedies?.why is god not doing any?since he is all-powerful?........first of all god started a perfect paradise(genesis 1:28)but they sinned and lost that privilege(genesis 3:24) and then handed it to us because of their unfaithful course...and because of satan testing our integrity..like in the case of job...satan said god is letting his servant job serve him in an easy way how can he prove that he is faithful?(job1:9 says..“Is it for nothing that Job has feared God? )and he addressed ths not only to job but all humans(job 2:4 says..(satan)
Skin in behalf of skin, and everything that a man has he will give in behalf of his soul.  For a change, thrust out your hand, please, and touch as far as his bone and his flesh [and see] whether he will not curse you to your very face.” ........so we can see why satan is challenging all of us if we will remain faithful to god under hardships(job 2:9)...and satan is doing all these?....but when will all these be over?.......?..god promised his kingdom like jesus taught the model prayer(matthew 6:10)..and this will put an end to all humans problems(daniel 2:44)...the result?..(revelation 21:4).....only the father knows ...no one knows when that will be even jesus nor the angels knew(matthew 24:36)...but he tell us to remain alert(“Keep on the watch . . . because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.”—MATTHEW 24:42.)..we should remain faithful and make good decisions accdg to gods standards(proverbs 27:11)

why can't christians stop other people from abuse?
because abuse is the problem, they see god as a thundergod of anger and violence
(see Rev 19 and 'prince of peace)
according to the morals set forth in old and new testament, violence is justified and sanctified, especially to the woman or slave

God gave us free will to sin or to follow God. When kids get hurt it is not Gods's responsbilty to take care of them it is the parents or care takers

I'm not a Christian, but I can give you typical Christian answers to this: "It is part of God's plan", "It is God's will", "God works in mysterious ways (don't question it)", "He was teaching us a lesson", "They [the children] cannot be helped. All we have to do is accept Jesus' teachings and be saved. We must go to the light and praise our ever-loving God for all eternity when we go to Heaven"... etc.

By your question i can tell you are just starting to think about religion. Please, while there is still time, abandon your faith. You don't know about the millions of murders god commits indirectly and directly in the bible. The bible talks about how God commanded his followers to gang rape, murder, burn cities, steal, and many other things. The Bible is just a bunch of stories written by man. In the Old Testament, the laws of back then were to put to death homosexuals, misbehaving children, nonbelievers, and people that worked on the Sabbath! Please read The God Delusion to learn more.

God doesn't abuse children. Mankind does that. People have to take responsibility for their actions and not blame it on God. The bible tells people how to act. It's not God's fault if they don't act that way.

Because God is not a cosmic tyrant who can micromanage everything in the universe. Everything has autonomy, has its own power, human beings and everything else. God suffers with us so we can bring salvation and healing out of pain. God is crucified with us. That means he suffers with us and is not distant. He doesn't overcome evil by his command. He overcomes it by descending into it and suffering it and enlightening it and healing it. We can be part of that process if we want to be, if we make ourselves into his hands on earth to do his work of mercy and love.
Don't think God makes the children suffer. Think that it's your job to stop their suffering, to be God's co-worker in ending suffering. That's why he enlightens your heart with feelings of grief and pity and mercy.
Jesus never told any suffering person that their suffering was from God. He healed them.
