I share by the way I live and act. If people ask I'll give an answer. I don't believe that we should go around preaching in people's faces. We are to shine with the light of Christ so that people will be drawn to Christ. Our everyday life should be a witness to others.

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, a bunch of people evacutated to Houston. Second Baptist Church put together Operation Compassion to host the evacuees at the convention center. My part of Operation Compassion was to be a host in the dining hall. I asked people if they needed anything, I got people something to dring\k or eat, I carried trays for moms with small children, and tried to make people feel more comfortable.

One man asked me which group I was with. i mentioned I was from the local Catholic church. He said that if we could come down and help out, then we must be a good bunch of people and he would come and visit us.

don't be "preachy" or holier-than-thou. It offends people & puts them off. It's okay to share what being a Christian means to you & if they'll hear you tell what good things God has done for you. Even a brief mention plants the seed but the best witness is a changed life.

I share my testimony how I came to Christ and then share the truth of Scripture:

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

The Christians in South America would go to the Indians and tell them in Latin (a language no Indian understood) that they had the choice to convert to Christianity or they would be killed and their land taken - they then gave time to think about it - and returned a day later - since none of the Indians had responded they killed them all and took their land

Such is the Christian religion-by their fruits shall ye know them

Just talk about it with your friends. Don't be afraid to be judged or rejected. I do it all the time and it works. Just tell people about God. There's no special technique to it.
