I tend to think not because God is the only one who is omniscient. Also some prophecy scholars have proposed that Satan has had a man prepared in every generation of mankind's history for the purpose of fulfilling the role of Antichrist. Some of these men might have included Antiochus Epiphanes, Nero, Napoleon, Hitler, etc, which would suggest he ultimitely doesn't know who's body he will inhabit. What do you think? Please keep in mind I am asking a Biblical question and out of respect would like a Biblical response and not a sarcastic one. I do realize that some of you cannot help yourselves, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask politely.

Some said Antichrist was only used once in the Bible, but he is also called other names, Son of Perdition, the evil one, etc. Just didn't want to make a long statement. Also, remember that Satan knows he will be Antichrist someday, I just wondered if the person he will inhabit knows. We know Satan is a fallen Angel and that the AntiChrist is a man.

Okay, sweetie pie, have you read the Bible? I think you read the bilble, but have you ever read the entire Bible?

Where does it say that Satan will indwell the person known as the anti-christ?

The answer is it doesn't. That's a made up thing that became popular in end times novels in the 60s and 70s, when the Deliverence movement became popular among Pentacostals.

People try to make money or gain prestige interpreting prophecies that are really very cryptic in light of modern events. Best bet is just to hang on, see what happens, and do the right thing when the time comes, if the time ever comes.

No ,But I believe the person that satan is going to use has been born ,We are in the end times no doubt about it . The anti Christ will be a Homosexual and people are embracing this kind of behavior like its OK ,So when the Anti Christ reveals himself as a Homosexual people will gladly accept it / Anti Christ could be a She /some biblical scholars also say the devil is actually a she /.probably Hillary Clinton

Good question.

I have my doubts. I think Revelation 13 speaks of Satan giving the antichrist his power at a certain point in time. Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2 speaks of a great apostasy that will happen and I think that at this time the antichrist will either become completely aware of his end time role, or his knowledge will gradually increase. At the beginning of his existence, I believe everyone (i.e., those who aren't saved) will love him. He won't seem as a threat. Until the apostasy occurs. Then I think all hell will break lose (either gradually or all at once).

Interesting subject & VERY deep!

My 30 years studying the bible I came to the conclusion that the man of sin that is to be revealed that most call the anti christ is not just one man but many men in one office. Scriptures say that the apostasy will come with churches forbidding to marry and be given in marriage, and will make people abstian from eating meat, that people wil call men Father and that man of sin will set in a position of athority even being God on earth.

That sounds like an office that has been around about 1500 years to me.

Probably not. If he did, it would be a simple matter to read the end of the book and realize that it was a mistake. Unless, of course, he doesn't believe the Bible, but then he wouldn't know for sure, huh? So no. He can't know. He would disbelieve it if he were told.

ConstElation has a very good point about Hitler.

I don't have an answer, though I thought the antichrist prophesy was fulfilled by Nero. I just thought I'd commend you for asking for biblical answers in a non-patronizing way, encourage it, and hope others will follow your example without using it as a means of setting up a private non-Christian bashing forum. Keep it up.

I agree with you. I think since God is all knowing, the anti-Christ wouldn't necessarily know that is what he is. Although, when has an evil person ever said, "Gee, I'm so bad, I think I might be the anit-Christ." Although I understand your curiosity, I don't think God wants us to be worried with who it will be or when it will be. I think God wants us to be prepared through prayer and reading the Bible. As a believer, I am not afraid or concerned with the anti-Christ.

If the "antichrist" is merely fulfilling Bible prophesy and/or the ever-popular "God's WIll", as Jesus supposedly did by being born and dying on the cross for your sins....why wouldn't the Anti-Christ also know what he/she is, the same as Jesus?? Unlike Jesus, the anti-christ wouldn't be very effective if he/she went around telling people.

In short, Yes. (if that sort of thing was real, and not just imaginary)

I think that you're correct. From what I understand of the bible, there is one person who is going to destroy the earth by acting as Jesus did. As I understand it, the anti-christ is not someone proclaiming anything against Jesus, it is someone who will lead others as He did.

If it reads correctly, the "man" will lead ten nations, (probably the Roman Empire), and will lead them to the Apocalypse -- which means a new beginning.
