I have always prayed through my mind, thinking. Do I have to pray talking? Can I just pray through my mind, speak to Jesus/God through that way?

ok im not so good in asking questions so they make sense to other people like it makes sense in my head... sorry :/
when you hear about people who have got "saved" by Jesus (Christianity, God) and how they chnaged and their life is so much better(than how it usd to be). why would you not want to trust in God? see what happens, see what people who believe are talking about? (and yes i know you can switch it around) and i didnt mean why would you not want to believe in something that says its the truth, cause alot of things say they are the truth. i meant what i said up there ^.and Einstein was a scientist and he believed God was real, so if you think that you need scientifical proof etc, etc, idk? Einstein didnt, or he had some, but didnt share it with anyone.... . all i know is that God changed me when no one else could and i just want others to experience what i have. and again sorry if this affends you or is negative to you in any way. just want to know what people think.

Did the censorship gods get me again?

This is what I asked:

Would this be o.k. with you?
Religious people:

Could I pass laws to make your marriages illegal?

Make it o.k. to allow some children to practice Satanism in public schools (as long as it was quietly, and to themselves)?

Try to make everyone believe that my ivisible god,"BOB",made everything in the whole world, and says that when we die,we can all be in Disneyland with him forever.

How about teaching BOB creationism in schools to your children.BOB created everything in 3 weeks,2 hours, and 15 minutes.?

Feel free to answer each of these questions seperately if you dare apply some of your particular brand of logic to each of them...

created the Trivium and Quadrivium (modern classical education) during the middle ages (Catholic Church), revived it in the American Colonies (Puritans) and are reviving it once again through the homeschooling movement and in Christian Colleges?

Is it logical for a group to create an education system that will destroy that group in the process?

People say they want prayer back in school but then they say Muslims or Jews should not be allowed to pray to anyone except Jesus. It's all very confusing. I mean, at my high school prayer was allowed as an extracurricular activity as long as it didn't cut into class time. And really what's the big deal? You can't force someone to pray the way you want them to. I was sent to Bible school my whole life and never prayed when everyone else was. Also you don't need to make a big show or get on your knees to pray. You can do it while you are sitting in class.

Instead of bringing mankind a cure for heart disease and cancer, he cursed a fig tree. Instead of ending birth defects and infant mortality, he filled a pig with demons. Instead of ending world hunger and illiteracy, he conjured up a jug of wine.

What's up with that?

In the old testament the prophecy of the coming messiah said that he would be on the house and lineage of David. Joseph was of the house of David. Joseph was not Jesus' father. God was, right! So they tried to make Mary to be Joseph's cousin. However, it was not until the 20th century that a womans lineage counted. So if we are to believe the old testament prophecy than Jesus would not have been the one.

I does not matter!!! Him being the messiah does not matter. What matters is the message of the man Jesus. His message was to love one another. Mahatma Gandhi was a man who lived by the message of Jesus, yet many do not believe that he crossed over to "heaven".

If Jesus was the messiah, why are we not trying to live the way he wanted us to live.

Thank you. You just helped me make my point.

When the consequences of being wrong are small, people are willing to express their belief. So what if you got "What number is 5 more than half of 80" wrong? No big deal. There's no negative consequence.

What would the consequence be if an atheist is wrong? By some accounts, he'll be thrust into hell for eternity. And yet, atheists are willing to express their belief that there is no God.

On the other hand, what is the consequence if a believer is wrong? Not much, in my opinion. That's why so many people hold this view.

I'm sure many among atheists has many different concepts but I'm curious to know what do you believe in how creation was origined?I mean do you guys believe that apperently a substance came out of nowhere?Or do you believe that the creation is infinite(had no beginning)and there's an infinite process of evolution?Couldn't there be an unknown and infinite source that was the reason that creation came to existence and with that everything just created by itself? Please don't turn this in to a theology debate just wanna learns some different views.

Luke was a Greek physician and he never knew Jesus. According to the gospels Mary , Jesus mother, shared things with Luke that she never shared with anyone.

Mary told him the Annunciation. Only in Luke is that recorded.

If we are to believe the bible, Mary shared the secrets of her heart to a Greek scientist.

Thousands of hungry children are right here in the US...homeless with their parents on the streets. Thousands of citizens live at or below poverty, and only have a decent meal and heat in the winter when they are lucky. Yet, our good Nation founded on Christian principles "turns the other cheek" and continues on blowing up Iraq and feeding war and the games of war. The greatest country in the world? Really? Maybe we should ask one of those poor, cold and hungry children on the streets of D.C.

Why do we have so much money to sponsor war and deadly games with people's lives, but none to get help to our own people? To me, this is so sad. I do what I can, but things need to change. They are so wrong. Where is God in all this evil?
