I have a Wiccan friend and we talk openly about the differences and similarites between our respective religions. Lately, I've been curious about her religion. Yet something inside me tells me I shouldn't be trying to gain knowledge on the subject.

Yes there are those christains that are very fake and treat others like garbage for their differences, but I have to admit that Love thy neighbor and things like that from the religion have impacted society in good ways. Doesn't that make christianity in a way a good thing even if you do not believe in it?

Alot of bad since prayer has left in 1962.

Teenage pregnancy rates have gone up 500% since 1962. Unmarried mothers have risen dramatically since 1962. The divorce Rate is so high that many young children don't really understand what a family is. Violent Crimes have risen steadily since the early 60's, and our prison system is bursting at the seams.

The SAT scores have steadily declined each year for 18 straight years since 1962 and continue to decline or be low. As the poorly educated enter the workforce how can our companies compete with other international industries?

I notice people often accuse other religions of being a certain way or believing a certain thing, then a member of that faith says something completely different. Why wouldn't people believe the one following the faith or why would they believe the one not of that faith?

Do you think that someone or maybe even your family member can do something to make you break apart from someone you really care for just because she is a mother of greed and does not want you for his son because your poor?

This is from the website, fundies say the darndest things. You make fun of the Saviour because you are ignorant and you don't know that the time has already come. Yes, Jesus is already among us! I know from a VERY reliable source that Jesus is already on the Earth and currently lives in Taiwan where He conducts lectures. The second coming is already a FACT. Right now you don't know but soon you will know - when He comes to America. But then it will be too late. Mind you, I'm just writing this to warn you and cause you to stop this sinful activity - you will regret soon."

I have read the Koran and I am not sure....I sure hope not, it seems they have no religious hierichy as the Catholic church does, no international leader who decides their teachings. The new testament clearly states violence is incompatable with religion.

So where is the so-called evidence for evolution? Not in the biology textbooks used in the public schools! Aren't there any legitimate evidences for the theory? Why do we have to imagine macro-evolution happening "long ago and far away..."? Could undirected natural processes alone assemble the intricate structures found within living cells? Can chemistry alone account for the origin of life on earth? What is the origin of the genetic information encoded in living organisms? Until evolutionists come up with real answers to these fundamental questions, Darwinian evolution should be kept in philosophy textbooks where it belongs and taken out of biology textbooks where, tragically, it has become entrenched.

"Theologians generally are delighted with the proof that the universe had a beginning, but astronomers are curiously upset. It turns out that the scientist behaves the way the rest of us do when our beliefs are in conflict with the evidence"

astrow went on to say, "For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries." (God and the Astronomers, p. 116.) It seems the Cosmic Egg that was the birth of our universe logically requires a Cosmic Chicken...

Jesus said we should love one another.
Did he mean that we should love everyone except those that are different or who scare us?

I know the bible is fiction, but can anyone give me a scripture which were supposed to be the exact words of Jesus that addressed homosexuality directly. I want his exact words.
