I'm Muslim and there is no sin in that, its OK to skip chapters and come back to them later. Its the process of learning. Remember Allah is very forgiving & he knows best...

As for Jesus, he will descend in damascus.

Not Muslim. but am reading the English translation of the Koran .Am up to suma 5.
To really understand either Book you need to read it in order. This avoids what I have seen in this section of people using mixed verses to try and prove their point. they only make a confusing mess of their questions . AS not all verses apply to the same subject.
Where will Jesus descend down to Earth at . I should imagine Jerusalem. As that is the site that most Mideastern religions say that Their Idea of God has said that It gave the land to all of the people. It all ready has Muslim, Jewish, Christian and shite claiming it in their Gods name.

Yes you can do this, there is no saying I am aware of which prohibits this. And I have some good advice for you, if you want a better explanation of a verse go to www.tafsir.com some very nice people have set up a website with the commentary of the Classical Scholar Ibn Kathir with authentic hadith references

From the Authentic Hadith (Book 041, Number 7015)

".....and it would at this very time that Allah would send Christ, son of Mary, and he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels....."

I summarized because it was a long hadith about the Antichrist

Well brother,

If it's in Arabic, you should go in the order. There's no need for skipping. If it's in English, then you can.

But I recommend you do not skip when reading in Arabic.

And I am Muslim, Laa ilaaha illillaah Muhammada-Rasoolillaah

It is so nice to see how open you are to the truth, and yet you lack the ability to know how to read your own Bible. And your people are trying to tell my Brothers and Sisters their brainwashed.Get thee behind me satan in the name of Jesus Christ whom I serve. You have been exposed to the true light once again, now run and hide for my God will expose your lies again and again.

I am a Muslim and it is okay to skip chapters of the Quran and come back to them later just as it is okay to skip chapters of the Bible and come back to them later.
