Didn't you hear? We are responsible for all the things that ever went wrong and intellect is responsible for everything that ever went right!!
LOL...i mean look how stupid we are for wanting prayer in schools....look how great things got after it went away in 1962!!
Teenage pregnancy rates have gone up 500% since 1962. Unmarried mothers have risen dramatically since 1962. The divorce Rate is so high that many young children don't really understand what a family is. Violent Crimes have risen steadily since the early 60's, and our prison system is bursting at the seams.
The SAT scores have steadily declined each year for 18 straight years since 1962 and continue to decline or be low. As the poorly educated enter the workforce how can our companies compete with other international industries?

It's not all Christians, just the intolerant, bigoted, denigrating, smile in your face while trying to push their religion on you even after you have said you are not interested, who usually no less about their religion than you do, Christians.
It's just those kind I don't like.
You guys love to blather on about how you are so persecuted. What do you folks know about persecution?
Can you tell me when in the current history of this country have Christians been persecuted? Have you been denied housing? Have you been denied jobs?
Have you been forced to go to schools where you were not allowed to speak your native tongue? Forced to cut your hair, made to give up your birth name and given a "proper, god fearing name"? Made to go to a religious service you didn't want to?
Oh no, you all want to whine because they, the other people in the US who have different beliefs than you, want equal footing. You are not persecuted, your elitist snobs who have had your exclusivity taken away.
Why don't you go talk to a Jew, an American Indian, a Mormon, an African American, a Sikh, a Muslim or a Hindi if you want to really know what being persecuted is like.

I don't think that very many people *hate* Christians.
Imagine this:
You're a vegetarian. A salesperson comes to the door to try to sell you a meat delivery service. You say, "No, thank you, I'm a vegetarian"
The sales person proceeds to tell you that you're bad and wrong for being a vegetarian, that you will suffer for not eating meat, and keeps pushing at you to buy the meat delivery service.
When you lose patience with this sales tactic and finally say "Just take your meat somewhere else - I don't WANT it, and this is why: (and you tell him about the health consequences of eating meat, and the reasons why you're a vegetarian)", the salesperson gets all huffy and walks away, then turns back to you to shout "You're just hateful!"
*roll eyes*

Better question, since all groups are bound to be 'hated' by someone... Why are Christians the only ones we're supposed to feel sorry for in regard to this?

Jesus told His disciples, "Just as I was persectued as the Son, so will you be persecuted for following Me." The fact that so many people hate Christians actually validates this verse.

Yeah yeah, all the bad things that happen are actually because we made prayer in school illegal. It's all because of that.
