It's from a proverb by Solomon.
I know its a metaphor, as much as i wouldn't want to commit that kind of stuff, or if people are already immune to the effects of it....i want to know the destroying effects as it applies to "life of the adulterer", the one commiting that stuff,. ok

(sorry but just please exclude their children or their families, coz they're not involved in the sin just the sufferers )

Ah - but the children and families are very much involved in the sin for they bear some of the consequences.
Adultry denies a base covenant, weakening one's trust in the Eternal Covenant.
Adultry denies what God has designed, weakening ...
Adultry reduces sex to personal pleasure rather than mutual joy, weakening...
Adultry objectifies the other person, denigrating what God has created.
Adultry erodes one's trust in oneself, lessening the Image of God within.
Adultry hurts others - thus causing the adulterer to break the command to love one's neighbor as one's self.
Adultry states what God has given me is not enough and I must seek elsewhere. If that is true in sex, then it must be true in other areas of life as well.

I'm sure i'm not getting your question completely. By your comment, you seem to realize that a person's sin affects those around him, but probably NOT the extent to which it affects them.

I found this at: http://www.jackhayford.com/pages/sex_sins_broadcast.html
I left out the explanations and a couple of paragraphs, why not go there to see what else he has to say?
Why Sex Sins are Worse Than Others

Scripture Text: 1 Corinthians 6:9-20

***Unbelievers need to be saved from ALL their sins, so this is mostly aimed at believers, although 1-8 holds true to non-believers as well.***
Sex sins are not harder for God to forgive, but they are more damaging at a personal and social dimension for the following reasons:
* 1. Sex sins stain the root of the individual’s basic point of identity.
*2. Sex sin exploits the deepest aspects of our emotionality.
*3. Sex sins pollute the fountainhead of our highest creativity.
* 4. Sex sin produces guilt that cripples confidence and authority.
*5. Sex sins compromise the foundation of life’s deepest human relationship — marriage, poisoning the possibilities of the most open communication and breaching trust.
*6. Sex sin exposes us to the risk of begetting an unsupported human being.
*7. Sex sin increases the probability of multiplying the spread of disease.
*8. Sex sin gives place to appetites which only beget further unnatural behavior.
9. Sex sin breaches trust with the whole Body of Christ.
10. Sex sin assaults the pure Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life.

its funny that you quote solomon as saying that adultery is equal to hell, because solomon had his 700 wives and 300 concubines. http://scriptures.lds.org/en/1_kgs/11/3#3

Especially when modern christianity condemns all plural marriage as adultery.

No body wins, because someone is always crying outloud evil exists.

maybe solomon is commenting on what its like to have so many wives! maybe it is pure hell and torment of the mind to have so many wives?
but then again, it is the judgment of God for adulterers and fornicators NOT to Enter Heaven along with murderers cannibals and Liars

In the book of Matthew, Jesus says " you have heard it said that you shall not commit adultery. But I say to you that if you even look upon a woman with lust, you have already committed adultery with her in your heart." Jesus also says " If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter into heaven with one eye than to be cast into hell with both eyes."

In other words, take sexual sin very seriously for it can keep you out of the kingdom of heaven. God the Father gave Moses the 10 Commandments. The 7th Commandment says "Thou shall not commit adultery." Jesus opens up this commandment and says that God cares even about your thoughts. If you are lusting in your heart, than you are committing adultery with that person. God cares about your thoughts as well as your words and deeds. Be careful not to lust after women/men because it leads to hell. Jesus says to be very careful what you allow your eyes to see because it leads to sin. Sin leads to death.

This is why the whole world is guilty before God. On judgment day, who will be able to stand before the holiness of God? This is why Jesus died on the cross. We must repent of our sins and trust only in Jesus to save us. Please do this.

I cannot understand your silly question. Hell, sin, and adultery are creations of men. You must be a believer in the flawed, man-made Bible.

It is "laying holds at the depths of hell", because when one commits adultery, he becomes disloyal even to himself. " Love thyself and others as thy have loved thy God".
