Salvation does not come by men or any group of people. A church can't save you and a person on this planet can't give you forgiveness of sin unto salvation. Salvation come via a new birth. This experence is not a washing of the body with literal water. This is a spiritual experence of a new birth. The holy spirit leads a person to the understanding of the state of sin they are living in. That person must ask God to forgive him of his sin and ask the Lord Jesus to be his Lord. When you do that and only when you do that the Holy Spirit administers the baptism of the spirit of Christ into you. The holy spirit seals you with the living waters of Christ which is his own spirit. Thus you have been born of water from above and the blood of the lamb. When you come into a loving and obidence unto the Father. If you will ask Jesus he will ask the Father to send you the helper. And the Father will send you the helper. The helper is the Holy Spirit he is the great teacher. Do you want salvation?

I mean do you really get a buz out of mocking Jesus. I have to tell you God is not mocked, infact he sits up there and laughs at all the proud. Why do you get on this site if you are not religious, do you think you many be waisting you time? Really if sitting there mocking other christians faith(at least they have some, what about you) is what you do to fill in your time, you must be one miserable person. I am not saying all non believers do that, but the ones that do, at least Christians are not hell bound. Stop mocking Jesus, Jesus has done nothing wrong to you or anyone, so what is the problem. Satan must be controlling you life to do such a thing, as Satan and his demons do not like Jesus, and why because they know there final place, and they have been defeated. STOP mocking christans, you would not like it if we mocked you all the time and telling you you are going to hell, No you would hate it. Stop mocking our creator, you would not even be here if it wasn't for God.

eg. dogma, cult of personality, belief in a certain one true path, intolerance of other systems, obligation to tow the "party line" etc

Could communism, facism etc be considered as religions in themselves ?

Or at least could they be considered a very close cousin to religion ?

I ask this because many theists attempt to show the "evilness" of atheism by saying communist russia was atheist.

While thinking about this I wondered if in fact religion had more in common with communism.

Is there anybody else who feels an absolute joy and sense wonder and fulfillment when learning about the true scientific reasons for the how the universe and everything that is in it came to be ?

Do you feel an immense sense of wonder and amazement when you contemplate the sky at night and marvel at all we have learnt about our orgins and existance and all that there is still to know ?

Finally do you think that this joy and wonder is far superior to simply accepting ancient dogmatic myths as a way of explaining the world around us
