Everyone, regardless of what they believe, has been through discrimination because of whatever it is they believe. I don't see how Atheism would be different.

everyone and anyone has the right to belive in whatever they want, or not belive at all, I'm not an atheist though I have a very skeptic view about the existence of the supernatural, but to answer your question generally people that are self proclaimed atheists tend to be exteriorised because they are either considered fowl and without any kinds of moral values or people just want nothing to do with them we all have some amount of atheism in us it's just that some have a lot more then others, everyone has doubts

No, but my beliefs aren't the major aspect of my life so I don't hang a sign around my neck saying atheist or try to convert people
